Untitled

[edit]

Cleanup in Progress

[edit]

As of July 2024, the overwhelming majority of coins in this category were not issued by Aurelianus. In September of last year there was a large upload of images from the Bibliothèque nationale de France, all of which had "Aurelian" in their titles even though they belonged to later emperors (I do not know why). I am going slowly through and moving these images to the categories where they belong. Since there are slightly fewer than 4,000 to go, I wanted to post this explanation to cover the interval until the work is finished. ManuelKomnenos (talk) 15:17, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I have finished recategorizing the coins belonging to emperors Carus, Carinus, and Numerianus; all the remaining files incorrectly placed in this category pertain to the coinage of the Tetrarchic period. ManuelKomnenos (talk) 19:56, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have finished. Over 4,000 coins, belonging to Carus, Carinus, Magnia Urbica, Numerianus, Nigrinianus, Diocletianus, Maximianus, Galerius, Constantius I, and Julianus of Pannonia, have been moved into their proper categories. ManuelKomnenos (talk) 18:15, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
