Gallery with examples?
[edit]Hi! I appreciate your categorization of Classic era clothing. For those who have not clear the various types of dresses (like me), would you make a gallery listing all the types with simple examples? Thank you :) Sailko (talk) 08:35, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for your message, and for the immense number of art photographs which you’ve offered to Wikimedia! I’ve never made a gallery page before, so assembling a guide to ancient Mediterranean costume will be a chance to learn a new skill. ManuelKomnenos (talk) 13:25, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- It is not that difficult. You just pick a title in English, make it a red link and click on it. Then just write a brief introduction and make sections with examples in the tag <gallery></gallery>. Let me know if you need help, I can make the structure and review the page :) --Sailko (talk) 08:30, 3 December 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you! I'll try it in a day or so, when I've gotten a bit more sleep than is now the case. ManuelKomnenos (talk) 18:54, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
Autopatrol given
[edit]Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. —Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 16:31, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Mdaniels5757: Thank you! I very much enjoy editing here, and am glad if what I’ve been doing has been of use to the site. ManuelKomnenos (talk) 19:14, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
