English: SOS was the marque under which the Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company started manufacturing from 1924. These were supplied to the company's bus operating arm, which traded as 'Midland Red' (and which became the company's legal name in 1974, as the Midland Red Omnibus Company), as well as to other operators. From 1940 the company switched to building buses solely for itself, changing the marque to BMMO - See Category:BMMO buses.
