It is likely that this keystone carving of a locomotive on the Old Queen's Hotel, Leeds, was inspired by the 1846 drawing by John Cooke Bourne: File:Frontispiece by John Cooke Bourne (1a).jpg. The stone carver Matthew Taylor has translated the decorative edge of the tunnel into swirls of smoke from the funnel; otherwise (although greatly simplified), the general composition of the keystone carving has some similarities with the drawing.
