English: Nordstrom flagship store 1973-1998, Seattle, Washington, USA. This was their flagship before they took over the former Frederick & Nelson flagship store. The southern part of the building, at 1505 Fifth Avenue, originally known as the Ranke Building (named for the previous building on the site, built by Otto Ranke, one of early Seattle's leading builders), dates to 1926, but the lower portion was heavily rebuilt by Nordstrom. The northern part was the former Alhambra Theatre, later Wilkes theatre.
