English: The Car Park Entrance is one of two entrances to the National Railway Museum in York. This one is off Leeman Road and is for visitors arriving by car, as well as being the entrance for staff and corporate events parties. The other entrance is the City Entrance off Cinder Lane closer to the station, for visitors arriving by foot or train, or from the city centre beyond the station, or for those requiring accessible parking spaces. The Car Park Entrance is at the north west corner of the Great Hall. It's near the two main car parks for the museum which are sited either side of Leeman Road. The entrance has a turning circle outside, upon which is mounted a prominent landmark in the form of the driving wheels from a broad gauge Bristol and Exeter 4-2-4T class steam locomotive.
