The King Faisal Babes FC is a soccer club from Kumasi (Ghana). Founder and owner of this club is Alhaji Ahmed Abdul Karim Grunsah which gave his club the name in honor of the former King Faisal of Saudi Arabia (Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud), which was murdered by his nephew on the 25th of March, 1975 during a Majlis. When exactly this club was founded, is obscure, but the King Faisal Babes played for the first time in the highest Ghanaian football league in the season 2002.
