Irish-born architect John Murray moved to London early in his life, and established himself there. In the 1890s, he worked in partnership with Frank Foster, as Murray & Foster. (source: A. Stuart Gray, Edwardian Architecture (1985), 270, also Brodie, Directory of British Architects 1834-1914 (RIBA 2001), II, 234, and Dictionary of Irish Architects).
