Deutsch: Die ehemalige Klosterkirche stand von 1246 bis 1943 am Klosterkirchhof, errichtet für das Kieler Franziskanerkloster.

Nach der Reformation trug sie seit 1562 den Namen Heiligengeistkirche (Heiliggeistkirche), benutzt als Universitätskirche (1665), Garnisionskirche (um 1867) und seit dem Umbau 1881-1891 als Gemeindekirche der Heiligengeist-Gemeinde.

Bei dem Umbau 1903/1904 erhielt sie einen Turm.
English: The former monastery church stood in the monastery churchyard from 1246 to 1943, built for the Kiel Franciscan monastery.

After the Reformation, it was called the Heiligengeistkirche (Holy Spirit Church) from 1562 onwards, used as a university church (1665), garrison church (around 1867) and, since the reconstruction in 1881-1891, as the parish church of the Heiligengeist congregation.

During the reconstruction in 1903/1904, the church received a tower.
