English: 0-6-0 tender locomotives were a characteristic type on British railways, around 1900. They were part of the stables of most of the pre-Grouping railway companies. Although the four-coupled passenger types were superseded by more powerful six-coupled successors, the 0-6-0 goods type remained in service long after, with types such as the GWR 2251 and SR Q1 classes.
