Antonio Grech Dimech (born 6 November 1886 in Valletta[1]) was a Maltese architect. He married the Countess Melita Cremona, sister of the wife of Baron Pietro Paolo Testaferrata Abela Moroni.[2] Grech Dimech designed the former Wembley ice-cream factory in Triq D'Argens, Gżira, for industrialist Luke V. Gauci, completed in 1937. In the 1930s Grech Dimech also designed various imposing villas in Ta' Xbiex, including Villa Trafalgar (inspired by Andrea Vassallo's Casa Said)[3] and Villa Bel Air, 1935 (today's residence of the Italian ambassador to Malta).[2]
