Welcome to Wikimedia Commons, Zvezda Soyuz!

I have reverted your removal of the "no permission" tag because there is no evidence of permission, the source link cannot be found on the website linked, so we cannot verify your claim. When that claim is verifiable then I will be quite happy to accept the image but, until then, there is no permission for the copyright licence you attached. Why do you think it is freely licenced? Thanks for uploading File:UOW SMART Infrastructure Facility.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:UOW SMART Infrastructure Facility.jpg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

About copyright issues...[edit]

What do I have to do??? -_- You might give some time to replace the copyrights at least... There were no any issues a while since I uploaded the images... :( Zvezda Soyuz (talk)

"There were no any issues" - really? Forgot our communication end of March?
"give some time" - really? File:UOW SMART Infrastructure Facility.jpg and File:UOW began.jpg were uploaded and tagged as copyvio 1 month ago. Permission provided? --Túrelio (talk) 12:00, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

From Zvezda Soyuz[edit]

Then what do I have to do? I already provided the sources and the authors for the images. Zvezda Soyuz (talk)

Images for upload to Commons have to be released by their creator (or legitimate rights holder) under a free license, that allows any kind of use, including commercial uses; see COM:L and COM:CB. That fact that an image is visible on a website has no relevance for coypright. --Túrelio (talk)
Okay, thanks for the advice. I will review all of the images :) Zvezda Soyuz (talk)
For images that have been originally created by bodies or employees of UOW, you might eventually get their permission, but you need to ask them; for details see Commons:OTRS. --Túrelio (talk) 16:08, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks :) Zvezda Soyuz (talk)

FYI, next time you remove a problem tag without removing the problem, such as you did again at File:UOW began.jpg, you will get blocked. --Túrelio (talk) 11:54, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Published editions 1 (except A & B): first published more than 25 years ago" The Campus News was published in 1976, what is the problem? The image "UOW Began.jpg" was attached to. Zvezda Soyuz (talk)
No idea what you are talking about. The alleged source-link to the pdf did never work. You wrote that the image is from 2011, which is unlikely correct. If the image has been shot in 1976, it is protected til 70 years after the death of the photographer[1], them name of which you never provided. --Túrelio (talk) 12:37, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oh sorry, my misstake :( Zvezda Soyuz (talk)
Cannot track the photographer... :( The link is broken recently... may be for renovation of the website :) okay then I will remove all following images in the article... thanks for letting me know about the value of copyright :) Zvezda Soyuz (talk)
File:UOW began.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
