Is there any reason why the panoramio bot doesn't mark images for 3 days when the panoramio backlog is over 90 images or so for more than 2 days. It has not marked images for 3 consecutive days now. I'm speculating that you, the operator, placed a minimum threshold of 100 images before the bot operates...but the bot marked 43 images on March 8. Just curious. --Leoboudv (talk) 19:16, 15 March 2015 (UTC)

I tried to restart the bot but it does not work :/. UnboundLocalError in the error log (Traceback). :-( - Waiting for Zhuyifei1999. --Steinsplitter (talk) 19:26, 15 March 2015 (UTC)
Regex could not identify {{Cc-by-3.0-us}} as a license template; now ignored as no license template. Idk about about another solution without a lot of re-coding though. --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 10:30, 16 March 2015 (UTC)

Incorrect file extensions

For your bot collection: File:Flaga Gminy Kościerzyna PNG.png, File:Herb Nowego Klincz svg.svg, etc. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:49, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

Shall I move them manually? I'm not a SQL expert to write the queries to find such files. --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 08:54, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

mis-linked cropped image

I accidentally put the link to the Commons page of the full picture for an image that originally came from Flickr under Commons 2.0, but still stated the license as from Flickr with appropriate license. This caused the bot to flag it as unable to confirm. The image is here: File:Sunny Isles Beach skyline from the south cropped.jpg. In the future is it best to say a commons modified image is from the original source or from the already known to be under the right license Commons source; will a bot recognized a cropped flickr image from a link to the full image? B137 (talk) 17:48, 27 March 2015 (UTC)

I think having a link to the commons source is preferred, as I can not find a way to recognize one image as a cropped version of another (Google can somehow). Cropped images without commons source are usually subjected to human review --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 02:35, 28 March 2015 (UTC)

It happened once again

I uploaded two more crops, this one I guess I made the same mistake again, and kind of knew it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Chateau_Beach_2015_crop_image.tif So on another upload I said it was a source from commons but the closes choice was Creative Commons 2.5 not 2.0: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mansions_building_Sunny_Isles_crop.tif No bots seemed to have a problem with the second one. Would I have more control using the old uploader? I used to switch to that one because I liked it better. B137 (talk) 17:16, 30 March 2015 (UTC)

I believe I sorted the issue out myself, I did what you did to the other image, I wish there was a less convoluted way. I'm guessing it's by using the old uploader and adding Cc-by-2.0 mannually. B137 (talk) 17:21, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
Well, I don't know what others usually do in such cases, but that's what I prefer. --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 10:28, 31 March 2015 (UTC)

Dear Zhuyifei1999,

I notice that the panoramio bot did not mark any images on March 31 even though there were 135 images waiting for review. Hopefully this was a temporary glitch. Kind Regards, --Leoboudv (talk) 01:01, 1 April 2015 (UTC)

Probably because of the NFS failure yesterday. --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 10:27, 1 April 2015 (UTC)

New Flickr license options

As the operator of the review bot, you're probably going to be interested in this news from Flickr yesterday. Discussion has begun at COM:VP#Flickr now offers Public Domain and CC0 designations. I'm particularly interested in whether or not this failure tagging is expected behaviour or not. Ultra7 (talk) 15:18, 1 April 2015 (UTC)

Expected behavior of bot to an unknown license --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 10:25, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
FYI, I've opened Commons:Requests for comment/Flickr and PD images - hopefully it will clear up how we should be handling the PD license. Ultra7 (talk) 14:50, 2 April 2015 (UTC)

Latvian_Army_Unimog.jpg

This pictures was reviewed, but marked with that: This recently uploaded image was originally posted to Flickr by Observe The Banana at http://flickr.com/photos/55133504@N00/14056078280. It has been reviewed on 2015-04-02 07:50:42 by FlickreviewR, who found it to be licensed under the terms of the cc-by-nc-2.0, which isn't compatible with the Commons. It is unknown whether the license above was ever valid. But author of photos gave permission to use his own work. What to do? And why cc-by-nc-2.0 isn't compatible with Commons? --VjacheslavWolski (talk) 12:53, 2 April 2015 (UTC)

Please see Template:Unfreeflickrnote and COM:L --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 13:13, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
I'll try to ask author to change license.--VjacheslavWolski (talk) 14:44, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
Asked, he changed. Solved? Who can moderate it?--VjacheslavWolski (talk) 15:07, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
Already reviewed. Should be all OK now --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 08:07, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

Salmonete grelhado.jpg

The image is from the following site: http://cozinhadanna.blogspot.pt/2012/11/salmonetes-grelhados-com-molho-de.html . It is indeed on Google images, not Flickr, though there is no information about copyright issues in that image. Should I change the information on the image, or remove it and take a picture of my own (since I live here, that's very easy)? If this one can stay, it's a very good one, otherwise, I replace it with a picture that I take in any restaurant here (with the permission of personnel there, of course). Viet-hoian1 (talk) 21:15, 2 April 2015 (UTC)

OK, since I indicated a source that I thought was the correct one, though it's not, I would ask you to delete the file, please (since I don't know how), so I can add another similar file, or the same file with the indication of the correct source, with the same name. Thanks!Viet-hoian1 (talk) 21:39, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
I requested speedy deletion --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 08:11, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

2 uploads for The Barberettes - Question?

File:The Barberettes in Toronto (35).jpg and File:The Barberettes in Toronto (106).jpg which I uploaded from Flickr as I have done before - you re-uploaded both of them. Did I do something wrong? Thank you.--Bonnielou2013 (talk) 03:26, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

Not really, my bot just uploaded the larger versions --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 08:58, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

Possible YiFeiBot error

Possible bot error on File:Archive Header template malformatting bug.png, {{GPL}} is supposed to be okay with MRD created by {{GNU-Layout}}. Ideally it's a PEBKAC entirely on my side including a recent modification of {{MediaWiki screenshot}} affecting this image among (many?) others. I'll report the issue of the arguably missing emergency stop button directly on AN/B. –Be..anyone (talk) 16:35, 8 April 2015 (UTC)

Hi, to be on the safe side I blocked your bot. Natuur12 (talk) 16:53, 8 April 2015 (UTC)

Flickerreview 2 issues

Hi, this edit by the bot removed a wrong license and replaced it with non existing {{Public Domain Dedication (CC0)}}. I created a redirect but you should probably just be adding {{CC-zero}}. In this edit you also removed a wrong license and also replaced it with non existing one. --Jarekt (talk) 13:55, 16 April 2015 (UTC)

✓ Partially fixed. The behavior of cc-zero images changed to Special:Diff/157358182, and pd1.0 images will always be marked for human review. Would this work? --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 10:00, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
Zhuyifei1999, Commons:Requests for comment/Flickr and PD images seems to have discussion on the subject. I proposed there to use newly written {{Flickr-public domain mark}} as a "temporary" license template. I was thinking about making the functionality similar to Template:Uwlsubst. --Jarekt (talk) 02:24, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
Shall I implement this now or shall I wait for consensus? I don't think it's an emergency anyways. BTW, is the signatures no longer functioning correctly or something? --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 06:45, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
Lets move this discussion to Commons:Requests for comment/Flickr and PD images, but yes I think you should implement it now and lets wotch foture changes to the upload bots to make sure they will not break your new implementation. --Jarekt (talk) 14:19, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
