Wiki Loves Monuments 2015 in Österreich
Vielen Dank für deine Teilnahme bei Wiki Loves Monuments 2015 in Österreich. Die Jury hat entschieden und die diesjährigen Preisträger wurden veröffentlicht: http://wikilovesmonuments.at/.
In etwa einem halben Jahr findet mit Wiki Loves Earth (http://wikilovesearth.at/) der nächste große Fotowettbewerb in Österreich statt, bei dem es um Naturdenkmäler geht. Wir würden uns freuen, wenn du auch an diesem Wettbewerb wieder teilnimmst.

Ölberg
Hallo Xenophon, bekanntlich hat die Mayersche Hofkunstanstalt ihre Entwürfe gerne wiederverwendet. Auch auf Commons finden sich so einige verblüffende Ähnlichkeiten aus dem weiten Verbreitungsgebiet der Münchener Glasmalereien. Heute stieß ich auf dieses Paar, das eine Bild wurde von Dir kürzlich hochgeladen, das andere von mir. Ich wollte das Dir nicht vorenthalten:

Einladung zur Teilnahme an Wiki Loves Monuments 2016 in Deutschland
Hallo Xenophon!
Du erhältst diese Nachricht, weil du bei Wiki Loves Monuments 2016 teilgenommen hast.
Auch in diesem Jahr beteiligt sich Deutschland wieder am internationalen Fotowettbewerb rund um Bau- und Kulturdenkmale. Bisher wurden bereits mehr als 18.000 Bilder hochgeladen – und wir würden uns sehr über weitere Bilder von Dir freuen. Noch bis zum 30. September 2016 kannst Du Deine Bilder hochladen. Alles Wissenswerte erfährst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.
Außerdem möchten wir Dich einladen, ab 12. September 2016 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese sichtet und bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im Oktober tagt, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2016 in Deutschland.

Ortsbildmesse
Hallo Wolfgang, ich habe dich als Mühlviertler auf der Ortsbildmesse Kirchberg ob der Donau 2016 vermisst. Ein bissl was haben wird daneben auch noch gemacht. Genaueres findest auf Hauptseite im Mitgliederwiki --lg in ein schönen Flecken von ÖO K@rl (talk) 12:06, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
Hallo Xenophon, gestatte mir bitte ein, zwei Anmerkungen zu obigem Bild. Haben die abgebildeten Personen in der ersten Reihe zugestimmt, auf diesem Foto zu erscheinen? Dann ergänze dies bitte in der Bildbeschreibung (geht ganz einfach mit dem Bapperl consent|full). Ich möchte allerdings darauf wetten, dass sie nicht explizit zugestimmt haben. Das wäre in diesem Fall aber zwingend gewesen. Es handelt sich schließlich nicht um eine öffentliche Veranstaltung (Gottesdienst oder Konzert), und „Beiwerk“ wären die Personen bestenfalls dann, wenn sie in der 20. oder 40. Reihe hinten säßen. Ich finde es, um es deutlich zu sagen, zudem hochgradig takt- und pietätlos, einfach, platsch, platsch, platsch hoch in den Altar-/Chorraum zu latschen, um sein Foto zu schießen, ohne dabei auf die Andacht anderer Kirchenbesucher Rücksicht zu nehmen. Das Foto ist geradezu ein Musterbeispiel dafür, wie man sich als Wikipedia-Fotograf gerade nicht benehmen darf! Nein: Entweder wartet man unauffällig ab, bis die „störenden“ Personen die vorderen Bänke verlassen haben und macht dann sein Foto, oder aber man verzichtet eben auf diese Aufnahme. Andernfalls ist der Tag nicht fern, für den in Kirchen ein allgemeines Fotografierverbot ausgesprochen wird. Meine dringende Bitte lautet daher: Bitte stelle, sofern meine Vermutungen zutreffend sind, freiwillig einen Löschantrag für Deine Aufnahme. Außerdem möchte Dich bitten, künftig etwas mehr Feingefühl an den Tag zu legen, insbesondere an sensiblen Orten wie Kirchen. Gruß nach Österreich --J.-H. Janßen (talk) 16:49, 17 September 2016 (UTC)

Du hast noch bis zum 18. Oktober die Gelegenheit Wettbewerbsbeiträge anderer Fotografen im Rahmen der Vorjury zu bewerten. Wir würden uns freuen, wenn Du dich daran beteiligst und mithilfst die besten Bilder des diesjährigen Wettbewerbs auszuwählen. Alle Informationen zur Vorjury findest Du hier.

I would like to let you know, that the excellent photo of the mineral Aragonite, taken by you in the Museum of Mining and Gothic art in Leogang in Salzburg, helped to illustrate polymorphism in crystallography in the article Mineralogy (section Physical properties).
