Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG)

Please use SVG Thank you for uploading some images! Did you know that Wikimedia Commons recommends the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format for certain types of images? Scalable Vector Graphics are designed to look appropriate at any scale, and SVG images are easier to modify and translate, helping Wikimedia to distribute knowledge to all of the world. A lot of modern programs support SVG export. If you encountered problems or have questions, don't hesitate to ask me, a member of the Graphic Lab, or the Graphics village pump. Uploading images in SVG format isn't mandatory, but it would help. (To avoid any misunderstandings, please don't just put raster images into an SVG container as embedded raster.) Hi, please don't upload files here with Public Domain Mark, this is not a valid license. Also PD-Ethiopia cannot be used for recent pictures, because we have the policy that pictures must be free in the source country. Jcb (talk) 15:52, 4 July 2019 (UTC)

Hi, I'm not sure what to do. These works were uploaded by the original author (the PM's office) under that mark. They were produced by government employees as part of their official duties, but I'm not sure Ethiopian copyright law says anything about that. What is the best way to proceed in this situation? --Varavour (talk) 21:02, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
