Your account has been blocked

[edit]

As noted here, you used this account (Unknown Wiki Robot) to evade the block of Salim McDoom, and have thus been blocked for abuse of multiple accounts. Further, Salim McDoom's unblock request was a mere regurgitation of my comments; genuine, credible rationales would be expected to be in your own words, to explain why what was said was inappropriate, and include retraction of allegations in addition to the legal threat. Unblock request declined

This blocked user asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators has reviewed and declined this request. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not override the decision without discussion.

Request reason: "The accusation of block evasion is unfair. The given link for sockpuppetry rule is on Wikipedia and this is Wikimedia. I have no knowledge if it the rules there applies here, and if they do they should have been listed in this project also because you cannot expect Wikimedia users to go to Wikipedia to read rules there. Often times I visit there is to check where articles a file is used. I did not intend this account to be a sockpuppet and both accounts are of separate purposes and because of issues of privacy. The one is used for uploading and ownership of files and this one is for anonymity editing and making deletion requests. So I request that disclosure of my accounts be deleted on my pages. I genuinely apologize for offending the editor who perceived my discussion of real-world copyright dispute process as a "legal threat". I am only a human being who gets upset at times. And it is because the tag team of the people making baseless copyright claims do not make substantial arguments in their deletion request. After explaining that the first photo they disputed is ineligible for copyright (consists only of excerpts, generic font headers and blurred images that do not constitute an overall intellectual property like a full article), they also went on tagging other photos I uploaded for being "derivatives". But they did not provide any proof at all. Those photos I uploaded were taken using a low-quality phone camera and are further cropped to remove faces of other people because they were taken on a public gathering. So I challenged the disputers how did they say those do not belong to me, and instead of providing proof the admin who is in tag team with the maker of the deletion request went on unlinking pages where the files are used to justify that they are not useful. Then they went on an ad hominem. I am not sending a legal threat and is not my intention to do so. I just want them to stop bugging me with nonsense consecutive copyvio claims. In fact, the maker of the DR is the one violating wikimedia rules by uploading bulk files from flickr that there are many duplicates, low quality and advertisement as proven by a speedy-deleted upload he/she made which got deleted first than the files he claim are copyvio. If they have no proof that a photo is a copyright violation they should also be honest enough to state it in deletion request instead of provoking and sending ad hominems because it is unfair to me or anyone victimized by tag teams being accused of violating copyright law which is tantamount to being accused as a criminal. Decline reason: "You must remain blocked due to inappropriate username. You cannot choose "administrator", "sysop", "bureaucrat" etc. as username, because this hints to special powers you actually do not have. So you cannot have username "Unknown Wiki Robot", because you are actually not a robot. Taivo (talk) 12:17, 3 October 2021 (UTC)])"[reply]

  •  Oppose - Per the sheer lack of clue above. Notwithstanding what a reasonable person would be expected to understand (and ignorantia juris non excusat), the Commons policy, which you were provided (!!!), includes both "Evasion of blocks. An administrator may reset the block of a user who intentionally evades a block, and may extend the duration of the block if the user engages in further blockable behaviour while evading the block. User accounts or IP addresses used to evade a block may and should also be blocked" (bold in original) and "Abusing multiple accounts [...] to evade blocks or other sanctions. Secondary accounts are typically blocked indefinitely. The primary account may or may not be subject to new or extended blocks depending on the circumstances." (bold in original) The continuation of bad faith nonsense here ("they went on an ad hominem", "it is unfair to me or anyone victimized by tag teams", etc) also demonstrates the initial block reason is not at all understood. I am not using multiple accounts to evade block. This is an older account and is the one always logged in on my browser. I only log in on the other when I have to upload so I was not informed that I have been blocked until I logged in on the other to upload but unable to do so. I understand the initial reason of the block that I must be kind to my approach to other users on Wikimedia. It is not my intention to harass or abuse other users here or engage in copyright violations. And as explained earlier it is also not my intention to abuse multiple accounts as I am only protecting my privacy for keeping separate accounts. I hope you would be considerate enough. I will do my best to upload better files that are clearer details so that they will not get tagged for copyvio to avoid getting into more problems. This is block evasion. It is not difficult. Эlcobbola talk 16:06, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As I have said it was an honest mistake because I did not see the block message before making the edit. I was auto logged in on this account because it was the one logged in on another wikimedia project. Still I sincerely apologize for it. Unknown Wiki Robot (talk) 16:13, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
