Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

registrarsi o accedere tramite Facebook Connect, e poi votare per Wiki Loves Monuments, il progetto numero 31.

Il bando "Che fare" mette in palio 100.000 € per un progetto innovativo che unisca la rete e la cultura. Il concorso prevede tre fasi: la selezione degli esperti, la votazione pubblica e la votazione finale della giuria.
Wiki Loves Monuments ha già superato brillantemente la prima fase (di oltre 500 progetti ne sono stati selezionati solo 32) e ora ha bisogno del sostegno di tutti per superare la seconda.
Aiutaci a spargere la voce, il premio finale ci permetterà di lavorare duramente per censire e pubblicizzare il patrimonio culturale italiano!

ps: l’edizione 2012 è stata coronata da un successo inatteso, sia dal punto di vista della partecipazione, che da quello del numero di foto caricate su Wikimedia Commons. Più di 800 partecipanti hanno caricato quasi 8000 foto e partendo da zero, siamo riusciti a liberare 963 monumenti in tutto il paese. Siamo molto orgogliosi di questo risultato, che abbiamo potuto conseguire anche grazie a te.

Sovracategorizzazioni

Ciao, scusa se ho rollbackato il tuo intervento ma se noti l'albero delle categorie la foto della "tua chiesa è già collegata con tutto quello che avevi inserito, basta navigare per categorie. Mi sono reso conto che è un metodo "anormale" rispetto a quanto si vede in siti specializzati (alla Flickr o Panoramio per citarne solo i più conosciuti anche ai non addetti ai lavori) che sono più orizzontali, ma dato che Commons ha una connotazione meno artistica e più utilistica è essenziale che il soggetto della foto sia quanto più preciso per un suo riutilizzo in voci dei vari progetti wikimedia. Porta pazienza se non sembra avere visibilità ma ti assicuro che alla bisogna si sa esattamente dove cercarla :-)--Threecharlie (talk) 19:54, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

Ad esempio in File:Teatro comunale di San Felice sul Panaro (MO).JPG hai affiamncato la cat madre Category:Teatro comunale (San Felice sul Panaro) alla Category:Emilia-Romagna che non serve essendo già una categoria di livello superiore di Category:San Felice sul Panaro. In pratica tutto ciò che è riferito al territorio comunale di San Felice sul Panaro va nella provincia di Modena, che a sua volta va nella regione Emilia-Romagna, che a sua volta va nella nazione Italia, che a sua volta va nelle apposite categorie dell'Europa. Se all'interno del territorio comunale si trova una chiesa si farà una categoria della chiesa, la quale essendo un edificio entrerà nella categoria dei buildings (dove coesisteranno ad esempio palazzi e ville), i quali avranno attinenza con le architecture (dove si sottocategorizzeranno per i vari stili di architettura), fino ad arrivare a quella del comune dove tutto sarà racchiuso, una scatola cinese o se preferisci una matrioska: Tutto chiaro? :-)--Threecharlie (talk) 20:03, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

Wiki Loves Monuments ti aspetta, con centinaia di nuovi comuni fotografabili

Concorso Wiki Loves Monuments Italia 2018 (English version)

Gentile TommiTrombe, ti ringraziamo ancora una volta per la tua passata partecipazione a Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM). Il più grande concorso fotografico del mondo si svolge anche questo settembre per documentare e promuovere il patrimonio culturale italiano, con una licenza copyright libera.

Quest'anno è doppiamente facile partecipare: gli oggetti fotografabili coprono quasi 1000 comuni in più, grazie all'adesione di centinaia di nuovi enti fra cui Roma, e alla possibilità di fotografare circa 2000 alberi monumentali. Controlla le liste di monumenti fotografabili! Carica tutte le foto che hai e magari organizza una visita presso i monumenti che ancora non hanno una foto.

Quest'oggi il Parlamento europeo ha respinto la proposta di estendere la libertà di panorama. E allora scattiamo e pubblichiamo tutte le foto che possiamo, almeno per questi monumenti per cui ci è legalmente consentito!
