Accidential block

Timrent, please accept my apologies. I was cleaning up vandalism on a deletion request in which you contributed and the rollback returned the page to version you had last edited. I was not observant enough and clicked on your name instead of the vandal. I immediately unblocked you and noted my error in the log. Again, I'm terribly sorry for the mix up. Reza Kabul

Hey Timtrent,

The reason I mentioned "I need" in my message to you about the page was because Wikipedia stated that I mention why 'I need a re-review'. We all do want things in life though, I shall not deny. I want to understand how to use Wikipedia, sadly it is quite beyond me. And I am making an effort.

As for the photograph of Reza Kabul, it is the work of Sharad Chandra Khiyali, who was commissioned to photograph Reza Kabul. I have made the said change in the photograph details.

Thanks.

Please confine discussion on Commons to Commons matters, and reply to me regarding English Wikipedia matters on my talk page there. This site is not Wikipedia. You may wish to comment on the deletion discussion for the file here, on the correct page, on Commons. That is liked form the file itself. Timtrent (talk) 11:20, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Mills Memorial Library

Hi Tim, Just following up on a note you left on a photo one of our staff took for the library. (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Mills_Memorial_Library,_McMaster_University_%28July_19th,_2011%29.jpg). I have edited the deletion request with an update.

@Chris McAllister (McMaster): There is a process you need to follow. It involves proving that the picture may be used on Commons and beyond. You need to ask at Commons:Upload help for the precise process. There is no urgency. Deleted files may be retrieved by a Commons Admin once ownership and licencing is proven. Timtrent (talk) 21:07, 7 August 2015 (UTC)

Next steps regarding copyright ownership and thus the licensing.

Hey Tim, I was having a hard time finding some information regarding the OTRS process and next steps in sorting out the copyright ownership and licensing of the logo. Any document or links you can point me to would be great. Snagle77 (talk) 13:22, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

@Snagle77: I have also been struggling with that. On en WP I can find it easily. en:Wikipedia:Donating copyright material, but that is different from Commons. It could be a good place to ask someone, though. There must be a help desk here, somewhere. Remember, this is not urgent, it is just important.Timtrent (talk) 17:31, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

Your VFC installation method is deprecated

Hello Timtrent, we are aware that using the old installation method of VFC (via common.js, which you are using) may not work reliably anymore and can break other scripts as well. A detailed explanation can be found here. Important: To prevent problems please remove the old VFC installation code from your common.js and instead enable the VFC gadget in your preferences. Picture Commons Deletion

Hey Timtrent, the reason why I am talking about this is because I upload the picture to Wikimedia Commons, amd it said that this is from print... I’m created it myself. Thanks!Danialhalim680 (talk) 06:25, 17 July 2020 (UTC)

Danialhalim680 the place to talk about this is at the relevant deletion discussion. Where there is any doubt then Commons, a very different place from Wikipedia, requires proofs. Timtrent (talk) 06:46, 17 July 2020 (UTC)

Great House, Laugharne

Castle House, Laugharne

I'd like to ask you about a different and more general point following my response on the above's deletion nomination page. If, for example, I were to use my own 'Castle House' digital photograph in an article (as included here) would it still alert admin to a significant risk of copyright violation? I'm guessing that because it does not have the appearance of an old photograph, does have digital camera metadata and is not a small file (which indicates a possible scan) taken together would make it less likely to prompt a deletion nomination.

Also, the Wikipedia upload process for 'own work' via CC BY-SA 4.0 doesn't seem to offer a Wikipedia license only option. "This is my own work. I attest that I own the copyright on this file, and agree to irrevocably release this file to Wikimedia Commons under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license, and I agree to the Terms of Use." In these circumstances is it reasonable to assume this is the preferred form of image upload? Horatius At The Bridge (talk) 13:44, 27 July 2020 (UTC)

Horatius At The Bridge I have no easy way of answering your questions. I am not an admin on any site, and I have not uploaded any files recently. I think your extra information let me withdrawn the nomination. The best thing to do is to read Commons:Copyrights and ask an admin here. Commons is a very much more restricted place than Wikipedia. Picture Commons Deletion

Hi Timtrent, I don't know if I could write here or not. I'm quite new about this. the picture File:Jang Minho singing at concert.jpg is what I captured from the movie which was taken by a fan at the concert. I have permission to use it. What action should I do further about it? Please let me know. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vanilie (talk • contribs) 01:48, 18 August 2020‎ (UTCVanilie)

@Vanilie: When you upload a picture there are many prompts that tell you what to do. It's pretty hard to upload something that requires permission without noticing them. In this case you have to prove permission. Further instructions are on the image Timtrent (talk) 06:47, 18 August 2020 (UTC)

This file that you suggest to delete is the same as : File:Lobsang Nyandak.jpg In this latter photo, the exif clearly shows the name of the photograph (Timofey Yuriev). Taking this into account, I think this file can be kept. --Rédacteur Tibet (talk) 11:29, 21 August 2020 (UTC)

Clarifications

Hi Timtrent !

Images for speedy deletion dated 29th August, 2020 - clarifications regarding.

The images uploaded by me by Upload Wizard, were snapped by me by my mobile phone camera and previously used for Google products.

Those data are requested to be downloaded and used for WikiProjects.

Your {{Copyvio}} tagging

Hello Timtrent. I have noticed that you have recently tagged large numbers of images as copyright violations with the rationale Pictures without camera details tend to be suspect. We require a very much better declaration of source and/or permissions. Potential copyright violation. While lack of metadata can be suspicious, especially if an image looks to be created using professional equipment, it is not in and of itself a reason to speedily delete an image. Images that were clearly not created with professional equipment are much less likely to be copyright violations, even if they have been edited to remove the metadata. If you are suspicious of an uploader's claims of authorship, please use {{subst:npd}} or open a DR. Please only use {{Copyvio}} when you can show that the image is a blatant copyright violation. Thanks, --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 00:06, 7 September 2020 (UTC)

AntiCompositeNumber One of the things I am here to do is to learn to be better. Thank you fo the advice, which I have taken on board. Timtrent (talk) 06:39, 7 September 2020 (UTC)

Warning on pictures uploaded by me on Pennaal page draft.

I have seen warning message for images that I uploaded to a draft page. I have not infringed any copyrights. I have full rights for those images to be used and what document do you need for this? This is shocking. I wont ever use some object which I dont have a right to publish or talk.

Kindly refrain from this removal attempt. This is one of those brilliant efforts by a group of ladies in Kerala and I am really trying to bring this information to limelight with no COI. Photos are with 100% rights. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tomyworld (talk • contribs) 05:09, 13 September 2020‎ (UTC)

@Tomyworld: Please follow the instructions on your talk page and the notice on the files. Commons requires very precise information about the files you upload. This is not an attempt at removal, It is an attempt to get you to get it right when you upload material here. Timtrent (talk) 06:44, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
@Timtrent, thanks for the reply. I am a relatively new user; it would be great if I know the precise information required about the files. I will gladly provide. Appreciate your support. Tomyworld (talk) 17:32, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
@Tomyworld: You need a better guide than I am. The process of uploading the files will have given you a wealth of detail of what may and may not appear here. Often people are too keen to see their files uploaded to read that material. Commons:Copyrights ought to give you a good start, and I thin COM:OTRS as well. I can tell what is incorrect, but I have insufficient knowledge about what to do to correct it to be helpful. There must also be a help desk here somewhere.
Once a deletion discussion has started it runs until it ends. It is the property of all Commons editors in the same manner that anything in Wikipedia is the property of all Wikipedia editors. Commons and Wikipedia are very different places. Timtrent (talk) 18:09, 13 September 2020 (UTC)

How to add camera details?

Hi, I'm new on Wikipedia Commons and you recently put 3 of my pictures up for deletion request. I understand the problem and why it was put up, but unfortunately, I don't know how to fix it. Can you please guide me through the process of how I can fix/add all the details and requirements I missed?

Thank you so much! Tracksthegeneral (talk) 16:49, 15 February 2021 (UTC)Tracksthegeneral

@Tracksthegeneral, the problem is the real attribution of the source, the knowledge of the exact entity that owns the copyright and their granting you permission if these are not your own work. COM:OTRS will guide you. Out is never our intent to discourage folk form uploading, but Commons is very heavily policed to seek to ensure that all copyrights are correctly acknowledged and that files are correctly permissions. It is more stringent than Wikipedia.
Even if a file is deleted it can be recovered its the correct permissions.
It's not a matter of adding camera details. These are (or are not) in the EXIF element of a picture. Instead, we ask you to make a diligent declaration of the source, etc Timtrent (talk) 20:17, 15 February 2021 (UTC)

Hi Timtrent, the file File:Biological E logo.jpg is not a copyright violation. It falls under {{PD-textlogo}}. I am removing the copyright violation. If you disagree please nominate for deletion so that a discussion can be started to keep or delete and can be reviewed by others. Thank you. Run n Fly (talk) 05:42, 20 April 2021 (UTC)

@Run n Fly This is Commons. One does not remove SD tags at all, let alone on files one has uploaded one's self. One clicks the button to challenge them. I have reverted your removal of the SD notice and challenged the deletion on your behalf by making a full deletion nomination. Timtrent (talk) 06:00, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
@Timtrent: Thank you for allowing it converting it into a full deletion discussion. Run n Fly (talk) 06:03, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
File:Zivan Vulic.jpeg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Ramiz King Image

Hi,

I have fixed the copyright on image. I strongly believe this image is related to my notable work, MTV love school. 4 & Ace of Space 2 hence why I think I should have the kindness of you all to have this remain as I need for my wiki page. Please advise me where I can discuss this properly. But I truly would appreciate it like it would mean to own the world to have this remain. Thank you. Ramizking (talk) 18:55, 21 May 2021 (UTC)

File:Ramiz King Official.jpg Ramizking (talk) 18:56, 21 May 2021 (UTC)

@Ramizking you will need to respond to the full deletion request, linked from the file or your own talk page. You will also need to provide legal proof that you are the copyright owner via COM:OTRS. I have no influence on whether it remains or is deleted. Others will judge, not me. I simply noted it was inappropriately licenced and set the process in motion Timtrent (talk) 19:02, 21 May 2021 (UTC)

Bad deletion nomination

You tagged File:Brett A Becker.jpg for deletion but you apparently did not to see, or did not bother to look closely enough, that had been reviewed by an administrator and the source page has a clear attribution and licence "Catherine Mooney CC BY-SA 4.0" that was already in the file page. You seem to have been around long enough to know better. In future please be more careful as it is rather time consuming to review and fix such issues. Ww2censor (talk) 21:33, 24 June 2021 (UTC)

msg

Dear Timtrent,

Thank you for your suggestions about the photographs I uploaded to Wiki Commons. Regarding the photos uploaded to the Wikipedia page of "Aramashot Papayan" I would like to provide some background information so that we can see if there is anything we can do to preserve these photos. Maybe you can help me out here. The authors of many of the photos are unknown and there is no way we can know who took them. Even if we somehow did discover the names of the authors, we would have no way of locating the people because they are dead. Also, all of these were taken during the USSR. In particular, two of the photos, the one of Aramashot and Aram Papayan, as well as the one taken at the Ashtarak Theatre, were taken during Stalin's rule. Copyright laws were not upheld because there was no formal law, it was a dictatorship. The government controlled all personal property and art. The USSR laws can no longer apply because they do not exist. In addition to that, there is no one alive who can claim these photographs for themselves. As for the formal photograph of Aramashot Papayan, this can be found in the biography "Aramashot Papayan" by Suren Aghababyan. The book did not provide a name of a studio, photographer or copyright notice for any of the photographs found within it. We will never know who took that photograph during the USSR. Let me know what we can do in this predicament.

As for the photos in the article of "Rafael Papayan," I understand now as to why they cannot be used. They have already been released to the public in Armenia but I have no way of finding the original authors. I will search for new ones that I can get permission for. What type of document must I use to gain permission? Thank you once again for your help!!

Sincerely,

Jane Partizpanyan — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jane Partizpanyan (talk • contribs) 00:22, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

@Jane Partizpanyan These comments must be directed to any deletion discussions and (which is most important) through COM:OTRS I cannot influence this process myself. Wikimedia Commons has very strict rules on copyright. The word "Commons" is fundamental because it refers to the licencing. Wikimedia Commons will not accept files whose onward licencing is not appropriate, whether original authors can be found or not to give permission. It is particularly clear when one uploads a file here what the conditions are. That clear notice must not be ignored. You will find al the information you need at COM:OTRS Timtrent (talk) 07:59, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

Shauna Springer

Hi I believe you were incorrect to remove the picture I uploaded of Doctor Springer. Because it was on Thrive Global, which is a banned site from Wiki, does not mean they had the copyright. The owner of the picture is the subject. Please reverse the deletion thank you. EekMouse (talk) 12:35, 21 October 2021 (UTC)

@EekMouse In that case there is no evidence that the image is under an acceptable free licence. Ownership or possession of a photo, proprietorship of the equipment used to take the photo, or being the subject of the photo does not equate holding the copyright. The copyright holder is the photographer (i.e. the person who took the photo), rather that the subject (the person who appears in the photo) or the person possessing the photo, unless transferred by operation of law (e.g. inheritance, etc.) or by contract (written and signed by the copyright holder, and explicitly transfers the copyright).
Speak to the admin in who deleted the picture, please. This is a dual key system. I cannot delete files. I am not an admin Timtrent (talk) 12:50, 21 October 2021 (UTC)
So I'm a bit confused here...you left me a message about the false copyright violation on my talk page, you also deleted it off the subject article page. Now you are telling me someone else did all that? Nope. EekMouse (talk) 18:47, 21 October 2021 (UTC)
@EekMouse I left you a message, yes. An Administrator here deleted the file, as the file history will show you. Look at the history tab of the article on en wp. Commons Delinker Bot deleted the file from the article
As for "False Copyright" Thrive Global asserted copyright ownership. If you truly licenced it to them then your licensing attribution is of poor quality. There is no credit stating the picture's copyright is owned by another party.
You will find COM:OTRS useful as a place to assert and prove ownership of copyright. I cannot influence this in any manner. I spot probable copyright infringements and report them. Administrators do the rest, which includes disagreeing with me Timtrent (talk) 21:00, 21 October 2021 (UTC)

Jean Pirie article

Hi Tim,

I think that the use of the 1969 newspaper articles in the article on Jean Pirie are acceptable use under US copyright law.

This is because they fall under "fair use" provisions.

Fair use, according to the U.S. Copyright Office, “is a legal doctrine that promotes freedom of expression by permitting the unlicensed use of copyright-protected works in certain circumstances.” Essentially, fair use allows someone to use a copyrighted work for a completely different purpose than the copyright holder originally intended, which usually falls in the categories of “criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.” These protections fall under Section 107 of the Copyright Act.

To determine whether or not a use of a copyrighted work is fair use, four general guidelines are followed. The first is the “purpose and character of the use.” Most of the time, if a person is using a copyrighted work for non-profit and/or educational purposes, it generally falls under fair use.

In respect of the photograph of Jean Pirie dated 1942. It was commissioned by Jean, and she acquired the copyright at the time. I am afraid that there is no record of that existing. But I am happy to warrant that there will be no issue with its use. Again, fair use would apply in any event.

You must deal with the Jean Pirie article on Wikipedia, Ianrpenman. Commons files are handled here, on Commons
I see on my talk page there that you are claiming the doctrine of Fair Use for the files. Wikimedia Commons does not accept Fair Use files. The English Language Wikipedia does. As an IP Lawyer I know you will understand this.
I have, on en WP, reviewed your draft. Please let's deal with the draft there. 🇺🇦 Timtrent 🇺🇦 talk to me 🇺🇦 14:55, 9 May 2022 (UTC)

Obvious scan

Re File:Harry Roberts.png: Note that "Obvious scan" is not a valid reason for speedy deletion, because legitimately licensed images can definitely come through scans. All we know is that the digital file is not the original source, and therefore its sourcing information is inadequate which is grounds for seven-day deletion. It should be tagged with {{Dw no source since}} as I've done. -- King of ♥ 05:53, 23 July 2022 (UTC)

Empty categories

Hi, Timtrent. I saw that you added several empty categories to be discussed. When a category is empty, you can often just tag it with {{Empty page}} to get it deleted if it doesn't really need discussing. The only issue with that is usually if the category was created very recently and the creator might not have had time yet to populate it. -- Auntof6 (talk) 22:31, 8 October 2022 (UTC)

I will look at your draft on Wikipedia, and make any reply about it there, on your own talk page, if I see anything I can add to the review. 🇺🇦 Timtrent 🇺🇦 talk to me 🇺🇦 12:00, 15 November 2022 (UTC)

On a conflict of interest

Long probable personal attack, collapsed unread. 🇺🇦 Timtrent 🇺🇦 talk to me 🇺🇦 20:40, 4 December 2022 (UTC)

This in regards to my ban So here is the chronology of events in regards to what has been going on Relevant Links: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Arabid_slavery https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:IAskWhatIsTrue https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft_talk:Arabid_slavery https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Draft:Arabid_slavery&action=history https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Draft:Arabid_slavery&oldid=1124882050 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Elias_Ziade#Your_submission_at_Articles_for_creation:_Arabid_slavery_(December_2) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#Draft:Arabid_Slavery Chronology event 1: Editor IAskWhatIsTrue begins a multi-day project of drafting a new article with sound sources and up to the standards of wikipedia Draft: Arabid Slavery

Chronology even 2 An editor known as elias called stumbles upon the new draft (mentioned elias explains how elias came to find the draft here:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Elias_Ziade). elias, the conflict of interest editor decides , with a conflict of interst, to go and add false info box claiming the sources were invalid or bad, that the info was a "hoax" even though it was an article on a clear historical phenomenon being drafted (in edit here:https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Draft:Arabid_slavery&oldid=1124882050) . All of this was untrue. The sources upon investigation one will find are SOUND VALID up to wikipedia standard sources and refers to information were a large bulk already appears on wikipedia for example the articles on josephus, vespasian, ect A conflict of interest is defined as the following A conflict of interest occurs when an individual’s personal interests – family, friendships, financial, or social factors – could compromise his or her judgment, decisions, or actions in some other responsibility. Okay so elias here has individual person interests - his brothers and relatives are all arabid- they trace their ancestry back to all arbaids- their friends are arbaid- social factors their race is arabid- So go into the history of the arbaid slavery draft, you’ll see all their decision behvairo in step 2 chronology of events and later action were not in the interests of building an encyclopedia (link), it was in the interests of his race ( arabid family, arabid, race, arabid friends, arabid ethnicity, ect. Are arabid) and NOT to build an encyclopedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Here_to_build_an_encyclopedia)or what is in the broad interests of the wikipedia users the population ect. - the goal was to sabotage the publication of the article in the hopes that it would not get published

Chronology event 3: IAskWhatIsTrue realizes that elias might become a persistent vandlalizer or disruptive editor, in which IAsKWhatIsTrue’s suspicions turned out correct ( see step 4 of the chronology of events here) So IasKWhatIsTrue, not knowing about the conflict of interest noticeboard existed (cause IAskWhatIsTrue is a new user), went into the drafted talk page (where he was and is the only real writer of this draft) to make clear to future people stumbling upon the page that Elias had gone in and done via a conflict of interest vandalizing or, where eliases claims are completely unfounded that there was bad sources, confusion, hoax, ect. Rather the concept of arabid slavery is well-documented throughout time and on many, many wikipedi apages which is proven via many internal links on the drafted - thus obviously the subject of the article commonsense is no hoax

Chronology event 4: A day or two later, elias reliazes that IAskWhatHasTrue has gone and deleted elias’s vandalizing and hoax infobox. So Elias re-adds a new hoax info box, again in the same spirit of vandalism and conflict of interst . Then subsequently elias decides to submit the article for approval, in the hopes that the article would get flagged. the hopes of elias in adding that infobox and submitting it is so that a reviewer might try to delete or somehow flag the article, ect- in other words to cause trouble on wikipedia Elias’s true intentions was to get the draft flagged, possibly deleted, possibly get some sort of roadblocks put in the way, for example trigger someone into deleting the draft, deleting its photos, ect.

Chronology event 5: Elias then passive aggressively, and underhandedly in posting an image on IAskWhatHasTrue talk page a picture of a food gift , post, hiding his true intents to sabotage, pretending it was a good faith submission, probably in what elias thinks falsely is a sly underhanded/backhanded comment or snark. Ie the passive aggressiveness was to post the picture of the image , as if to say , “here, a gift for you” where passive aggressively the “gift” was really to try to mess with the drafting process and possible sabotage the drafting and future publication of the draft. The truth of the nature of elias was spoken of by FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me, the initial reviewer who accused Elias of "If you are placing a HOAX banner on the draft why have you submitted it. That is tantamount to disruptive editing" Editor Fiddle faddle reviews and declines to publish it. This is not IAskWhatHasTrue the original drafters and only one writing fault, because IAskWhatHasTrue didn’t even submit it for review and hadn’t even finished it and had no intentions whatsoever to - rather it was elias who had done two back-to-back edits in which the first was to add a false info box claiming the subject was a hoax was added by conflict of interest editor elias and then subsequently submitted for review to publish (and clearly elias is false and wrong here since arabid) As you can see Elias is the one who started it all, with a major conflict of interest, in step 2. IaskwhatISTrue was not aware that a conflict of interest functionality notice board existed, but then upon latter recommendation from someone else filed an official complaint due to the clear conflict of interest. A conflict of interest is defined as the following A conflict of interest occurs when an individual’s personal interests – family, friendships, financial, or social factors – could compromise his or her judgment, decisions, or actions in some other responsibility. Okay so elias here has individual person interests - his brothers and relatives are all arabid- they trace their ancestry back to all arabids- their friends are arabid- social factors their race is arabid- So go into the history of the arbaid slavery draft, you’ll see all their decision behavior and action was not in the interests of building an encyclopedia, it was in the interests of his race ( arabid family, arabid, race, arabid friends, arabid ethnicity, ect. Are arabid) and NOT to build an encyclopedia or what is in the broad interests of the Wikipedia users the population ect. I did not make a racial attack in which has been refered in the context to by any of the editors who’ve commented on this- -elias perceives a racial attack cause elias perceives this entire article existing as an attack- thus in a violation of Wikipedia's conflict of interest elias goes and writes false comments and prematurely submits a draft knowing that it would be declined and draw attention- which it did. In bad faith, elias then passively aggressively posts on talk page a picture of a gift, as an underhanded passive aggressive dig, pretending to be acting as a friend, but in elias’s mind (but falsely) slylng passively aggressively post when the true intentions behind elias actions was to sabotage, when in actuality elias’s intentions was to sabotage the article by prematurely submitting it before it was finalized and attaching false info boxes that the article In the context of the ban I got (which was supposed to go to Elias), I don't see any conversation whatsoever if editor elias's comments like 1) bad sources 2) hoax 3) confusing because they're not valid - elias's actions - they exist for ulterior motives Cmon really- that arabids were taken slave in history was a HOAX?? that's what this editor elias was claiming, simply flaging this info box in hopes that someone would see it and interfere with publication of the article which I had not finished. Was Flasheood: bad sources The "silliness” is that is mentioned by Oversight member Primefac 14:03, 2 December 2022 Primefac talk contribs changed block settings for IAskWhatIsTrue talk contribs with an expiration time of 13:17, 11 December 2022 (account creation blocked, cannot edit own talk page) (Personal attacks or harassment, pulling TPA and extending due to excessive talk page silliness) A clear conflict of interest is apparent and yet for reasons - there clearly exist on editor elias a conflict of interest - and to even discuss this racial conflict of interest race is going to mean race will be brought up - and yet the silliness is that someone(s) is saying race is not to be discussed - and yet how is the racial conflict of interest to even be discussed… - this is the projective silliness amongst the editors who do not understand that there is and the wrong person was blocked (in other words elias was at fault, not the editor known as IAskWhatIsTrue who is the chief writer of the article Arabid slavery ) The other component of the silliness is msot of the editors - are spoken of highly in the article – as many of the people mentioned such as Vespasian was - the editors are of the same ethnicity as vespasian and not say josephus who was in the article had a relationship- where elias is the race of josephus and this is of which elias on their own accord went and edited conflict of interst when IAskWhatIsTrue was minding thier own business in terms of drafting the draft for the article and didn’t reach out to elias, elias on their brown (as explained on elias’s talk page link here) stumbled upon the article and sought to interfere with its writing - and the silliness is that the editors are all similar to vespasian in racial heritage - and yet for reasons side towards the person with the conflict of interest (elias) towards biased and false and conflict of interest edits -with the article’s writer whose written a clear article with clear valid sources rather they choose to side with editor elias who has a clear conflict of interst in giving unfounded “hoax” boxes and else due to a conflict of interst as mentioned here- and there are reasons IaskWhatIsTrue knows as to why all these editors seek to side despite them being Vespasian and NOT Joeshpus I won’t say what those reasons are Then the additional silliness is that I am called “silly” or a “troll” by certain editors, who claim that I am launching personal attacks, and yet it is they who launch attacks against me , and this is why they want to project “silliness” onto me Elias perceives the entire article as an personal attack- that is why all their bannable behavior is explained via a conflict of interest in which they don't want the article to approve, various impediments - ect. The silliness is that the article’s content is all widely known already from deep intuitive standpoint and yet editors are caught up in the false idea that the approval or banning of me is symbolic for a wider issues not simply on Wikipedia- some sort of thing might be described as public information availability or something in terms of this- and yet the silliness of it all is all this info is widely known as well So all the editors seem to want to call me “silly”, but that is a projection ‘“Bad faith” was elias’s decision o submit an article knowing it was not ready, elias knowing they had misrepresented the article ahs containing hoax information or bad sources, confusing, ect - while none of this was true and nothing could be brought to table cause the articles writing and source materials were well -sourced - all due to a conflict of interest IAskWhatIsTrue (talk) 07:54, 4 December 2022 (UTC)

Tagging images endorsed by trusted users as copyvio

Re File:SP Balasubrahmanyam at 86th Birth Anniversary of Director K Balachander.jpg: An image should never be nominated for speedy deletion if it has been endorsed by a trusted user (admin, LicenseReviewer, or VRT agent). Endorsement can include a valid LicenseReview, VRT tag, closure as "kept" at DR, or decline of a previous speedy tag. Speedy deletion should only be for uncontroversial cases, and the fact that a trusted user does not believe the image should be deleted is automatic evidence that its deletion would be controversial. -- King of ♥ 00:15, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

@Ganímedes I think they have a serious difficulty in understanding what we need and how to provide it. Hi again, @Timtrent. I just noticed also, that you marked these images here for deletion.

These images were actually uploaded during our training session, outreach, and photowalk. They were uploaded as physical evidences of our activities.

You may have seen a PDF file also. That is for a presentation made at Wikimania 2023 which I presented alongside a fellow Wikimedian.

Please reconsider your earlier stance on the deletion of these images and file. Thanks and warm regards, Kambai Akau (talk) 14:25, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

@Admantine123 courtesy ping 🇺🇦 Timtrent 🇺🇦 talk to me 🇺🇦 17:56, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
Not my fault. Most of the politician biography is without image as patrollers here are so much confused about Indian copyright rules. High quality images from many government websites are deleted due to this confusion. Election commission have bad quality images but can be found for most of the politicians and in order to verify politicians on English Wikipedia, they are enough. Admantine123 (talk) 17:58, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
@Admantine123 A picture does not verify anything on enwiki. Only references do that. Pictures are pictures. 🇺🇦 Timtrent 🇺🇦 talk to me 🇺🇦 18:00, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
Can't agree. Three politician with same name exist on Wiki. All stubs with nothing to differentiate. This is common with many biographies. Admantine123 (talk) 18:02, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
