Pay attention to copyright
File:Taborah Adams.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

It is low resolution because it was taken with my phone.🤦🏽‍♀️ it is not from Facebook but it is on my official Facebook page. I also added it to my YouTube channel. It's an update. I update my photos on all of my social media sites. Exactly what is the issue. Taborah (talk) 14:28, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, it's a Creative Commons CC0 Waiver attached to it. Taborah (talk) 18:10, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Close-up 2021.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Close-up 2021.jpg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

It's not in violation[edit]

You say "it may be," but it is not. How many ways can this be proved and how does that justify removing my whole page. Why would anyone do such a horrible thing and not give the person 1 day..60 minutes even, to make a correction. Why.. who ruins someone's creation in a matter of minutes without any reason other than, I think and may be.

That's unbelievable mean. Taborah (talk) 14:17, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My website[edit]

How in the world is my picture in violation because it's on my website? Now you've got to explain this. Do you need to see that I am the owner AND creator of the site? This is laughable. You delete my page, claim I don't have copyright ownership and link it to MY website. Well it's also on MY YouTube channel AND MY official Facebook page. What... exactly what is your justification... This can't be legal. You can delete a page because you think the pic is not copy written? The whole page... over a picture. 🤣 Taborah (talk) 15:31, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I did some research, and I see that there are indeed some tickets in VRTS related to the article about you and photos of you. In Ticket:2008033010015881, you appear to have confirmed your intent to have your article show up in Google searches. As a result of merges, Ticket:2021112010005085 has 22 articles. In that ticket, you were notified 19 Nov 2021 15:25:04 +0000 that photographers own copyrights. The parents and guardians of minor photographers can license their works. For the free licenses we accept, we need a name for public attribution; in the case of a minor photographer, that name can be the name of a parent or guardian, but the text in our VRT database should reflect the name and age of the actual photographer; we don't have that yet. Article 5 (the original message which started ticket 2021112010005085) appears to have permission for File:Close-up 2021.jpg, but the sender does not distinguish whether they are the creator, the sole owner of the exclusive copyright, or acting on behalf of a minor - that sender should clarify. Article 9 (originally ticket 2021112010005441) portends to grant permission for a photo on your article, but your article had multiple photos before deletion - that sender should clarify. There is also confusion over the licenses (CC0 above vs. "Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International" in email), and the specific age(s) of any minor photographer(s). I'm sorry, I mistakenly assumed that none of those tickets existed because no one marked the photos {{PP}}. However, before any restoration can be done, the legal threat in Article 18 needs to be withdrawn per COM:NLT and en:WP:NLT.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 16:22, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Jeff, I swear I have the hardest time trying to figure out how to reply. I would appreciate this. I'm feeling under attack. I have 3 other men making changes and emailing me. I can't keep up and to be honest, there are a lot of tears flowing over here. Wiki rules and policies can be difficult to follow and it's upsetting when someone is shut down without being educated on how to correct something. I welcome any assistance because I want it to be correct. But understand, I've had my whole page deleted, I've been told my pictures are not under the correct Commons. I had one person, a few days ago, certify that my pictures were in proper standing and then I wake up to this. Sunday morning and I'm in tears when I should be decorating for Christmas. I'm not a bad person, I didn't purposely violate anything, that wasn't my goal. I don't have the power to make other volunteers stop messaging me the same thing. I'm literally overwhelmed and I'm not afraid to say have a mental illness and this has taken a toll on me. I think I'm just gonna forget it. Tnx Taborah (talk) 16:52, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I have no clue what Article 18 is or what it means or where I would go to find it and what needs to be done to it. I'm sorry I'm not as Wiki savvy as you. Wiki needs to make this more user friendly and simple to use. Taborah (talk) 17:05, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Jeff, my daughter is going to work on my page for me. When will it be back up? Taborah (talk) 17:35, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello? Taborah (talk) 17:55, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Permission[edit]

Hi, For any content previously published outside Commons, a formal written permission from the copyright holder is needed. Please see COM:VRT for the procedure. Note that the permission should be for a free license, allowing any use, including commercial ones, for anybody. Since you seem to be the subject of the pictures, you will also need to show a proof that you are the copyright holder, who is usually the photographer. Regards, Yann (talk) 15:50, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please see the Commons. Also, please do not do anything on my page. I have 4 men attacking me at the same time. I'm feeling out to be overwhelming and I'd like to only deal with Jim. Tnx Taborah (talk) 16:59, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And the form is there. One of your fellow volunteers apologize, go read it, for assuming it wasn't done because one of your other volunteers apparently didn't place the correct tag on it. So my whole page was deleted and I've been blocked over someone else's mistake. But because you volunteers have God like abilities, my page was incorrectly shut down because of...2 pictures! Yup... like, that's logical. Please don't touch my page and b4 you send me anything.. do your homework.. do that for everyone because sometimes the fault lies on ya'll side. From Jeff (not Jim) I'm sorry, I mistakenly assumed that none of those tickets existed because no one marked the photos {{subst:empty template|You forgot to subst this template.
