Please give images good descriptions

I noticed you've uploaded one or more images and I thought I should turn your attention to a common error.
Please give some thought to writing a good description of uploaded images. This ensures that they can be used. It also helps those that review and improve categories do a better job, which also ensures that images will get used in novel and interesting ways. Thanks, and happy editing! Dear Jusjih, the reason is simple: there might have been some problems during the upload or with the format of the file, so that they are such we see, blank! For this reason I uploaded later another version of the files (also the two sisters of chymica, see my galery). The quality of chymica.jpg is also not good, so I plan to upload it again in another format. I also added some categories to the other images. --Sv 21:21, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Request for deletion

Please put pictures you request for deletion (because of error, duplicate, bad name,...) not in the categories. There are templates for it which should be used, see Commons:Deletion guidelines. For example, if the file is the same file type and you're sure that it is exactly the same content tag it with {{duplicate|Image:example.jpg}} and give for the parameter (Image:example.jpg) the file which can replace this duplicate file. Or you can add {{speedydelete|Reason}}. -- Cecil 13:25, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
