Thank you for uploading this file, but please provide a weblink to the page where you found the image, or the name of the book from which you scanned it. This is required for us to verify the copyright status. That said, if the artist is unknown, how do you know that they died more than 70 years ago and that the original image was published before 1927 ({{PD-old-70-expired}})? De728631 (talk) 14:38, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
- It was published in 1820 as stated in the image file, and easily verifiable as scans of the original publication and image are found on many websites. I know that the author has been deceased for more than 70 years because there is no realistic possibility that a person who made a Kupferstich in 1820, i.e. someone who had had the time to learn that craft by 1820, was alive in 1952. People from the Napoleonic Wars didn't tend to be around in the 1950s, or in the 1920s for that matter. --Sulr73 (talk) 14:50, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
- Alright. Thank you for the link, it is now obvious that the author has since died. I even changed the licence to PD-old-100 because that would also make sense. De728631 (talk) 15:00, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
