Notice: I'd greatly appreciate help with some unidentified photos so that I can upload them. I have uploaded them to Flickr. They are currently very small images that should still be identifiable. If you are a taxonomist (or ornithologist, herpetologist or entomologist), or are otherwise familiar with the wildlife of Costa Rica, Mexico, Europe, or the USA, please have a look to see if you can help identify them! On Flickr, they are very low-quality, scaled-down versions under a more restrictive license: This won't be the case for any photos I upload to Commons ... Many Thanks! Storkk 11:47, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

I looked at your photos, the 2 lizards are from the genus Cnemidophorus (the whiptails and racerunners) It is hard to ID the species with such small photos because many Cnemidophorus species are very similar. They are not the same species, but are from the same genus. If you could email me the real pictures, I could try IDing them further. coolclay@gmail.com

Picture of the Year 2013 R2 Announcement

Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2013 is open!

2012 Picture of the Year: A pair of European Bee-eaters in Ariège, France.

Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category have continued to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 2 will end on 7 March 2014. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Commons:Picture_of_the_Year/2013/Introduction/en Click here to learn more and vote »]

Can you please let me know when these files can be restored? The required permissions have been sent via email and are also posted here: Commons:UR#File:FComite_-_Headshot.jpg_File:Doctor_Florence_Comite_.28Office.29.jpg Thank you Juda S. Engelmayer (talk) It says no use without consent of the owner - does that count for anything? Juda S. Engelmayer (talk)

Hi again Juda, I hope you are well. Unfortunately, the photographer needs to make clear that he has release the photos under a license that explicitly permits commercial re-use and derivative works. The license you pointed to explicitly prohibits them. Please see Commons:PS#Must_be_freely_licensed_or_public_domain. The "owner" you refer to would be the photographer, who owns the copyright and who has licensed the files to the subject. She (or anyone else) cannot release those files under another license unless the photographer has also transferred copyright, which the license you pointed to definitely does not. It is possible that if you ask the photographer, they can come to an arrangement - I have done that myself with, for example, File:Gavito_and_Plazaola_apilado,_Medborgarhus_in_Alvik,_2003-05-10.jpg so it does work sometimes, and is certainly worth trying. Best regards, Storkk (talk) 15:06, 20 March 2014 (UTC)

Good morning,

Hi Juda, Assuming he sent it to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org, OTRS will then check it (this can take some time: they are understaffed and overworked), and if all is well, the images will be undeleted immediately upon review. I know this has been a pain for you, thanks for sticking with it! Storkk (talk) 17:06, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
If they are understaffed and overworked, how does one volunteer to help? I have been a contributor for many years, know how to write and usually have good judgement. Advice? Thank you...

Juda S. Engelmayer (talk)
Good afternoon,
Would you know how long it takes for OTRS to approve a photo? I have done this before and never had an issue with this kind of time period. I find it odd. Nick Coleman has given his permission and is also frustrated at my persistent requests to email. I wish I knew how else to communicate with the volunteer team. Any insight would be helpful.
Thank you
Juda S. Engelmayer (talk)
The Commons backlog seems to be 34 days, according to Category:OTRS_pending. I'd check back in a couple weeks. The photos you uploaded also have a complication, in that initially they were "non-commercial", then they were "non-commercial but ok for wikipedia", then finally we got the correct permission. That's great, but the circuitous route that permission took means that it's not the easiest case imaginable. Storkk (talk) 07:25, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
Yes, that is why I am concerned. It took a while to get Nick Coleman to agree to just opening it up the right way. Thank you,

Church in Milan

I am puzzeld why you put the freedom of Panorama warning while the other images of the church are not warned. see Category:San Camillo (Milan) - Outside. It seems to be a fairly old church. When was it build an wich is the architect? Smiley.toerist (talk) 11:53, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

Sorry, found build in 1912.Smiley.toerist (talk) 11:55, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
Hi Smiley.toerist ... I was unaware of the other photos, so I did not tag them. My reading of Italian law is that for works other than simple photographs, copyright expires 70 years after the author's death. Can you verify that the architect died before 1944? Cheers, Storkk (talk) 12:00, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
Architect seems to have been a "Spirito Maria Chiappetta", who seems to have died in 1948, if I am reading Italian correctly. I will open a DR for all of the above files to see what the community thinks. Storkk (talk) 12:05, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
Done. See Commons:Deletion requests/Images of San Camillo (Milan). Storkk (talk) 12:42, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
Maybe there a posibility with a cutoff date. This was built in 1912! I put the question in the delete page.Smiley.toerist (talk) 14:17, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi, Pymouss... I recently categorized this DR into Category:Italian FOP cases/deleted, but then checked the history, and found you had moved it back into the supercategory when the image was undeleted. Please revert me if my edit was in error. Thanks, Storkk (talk) 18:30, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

I think that you did right. in fact, I did not watch carefully when I undeleted this image that the DR was in a specific category concerning Italian FOP-cases.
Well, it's a bit strange to have a page both categorized in an “deleted” and in a “undeleted” category but, as there is no Category:Italian FOP cases/undeleted, I think that's the best way to do.
Pymouss Let’s talk - 18:54, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

FOP

First, thank you for admiring some of my photos! :) Regarding the FOP, I believe my photos are legal enough to meet Indonesian law. For example, the rangkiang of the Pagaruyung Palace was rebuilt on 1869 (the original monument is burned down by the Dutch colonial army), so it should be old enough to meet Indonesian FOP laws. Of course, it is a monument (the palace complex itself is a national heritage, owned and managed by the government. ) and I believe the architect has died for more than 50 years. Thanks again for your attention! SpartacksCompatriot (talk) 10:37, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

Are you sure this is in a forest?    FDMS  4    18:02, 2 April 2014 (UTC)

@FDMS4: - no, I am not. Although my understanding of the word "forest" is that it's broad enough, that at least loosely defined it seems self-evidently true. When taken with the others of the group, File:10147044 10152675339999688 765250711 o.jpg and File:10146982 10152675338144688 1272979754 o.jpg, it seemed like a reasonable assumption, but I could easily have been wrong. Do you think that I should have asked the uploader? I know it's moot now (it was moved I think while you were asking me this), but I'd appreciate your opinion. Cheers, Storkk (talk) 07:31, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
Oh, I didn't notice the edit conflict with Marcus Cyron. Normally, I would recommend asking the uploader, but so far no one of this kind one-time contrbuting new users reacted to me for example offering help with sending permission, so in this case it likely might have lead to nothing if you asked the uploader. Thank you for your detailed reply!    FDMS  4    07:52, 3 April 2014 (UTC)

Deletion of some pictures

Dear Storkk -

I've not much uploaded to wiki-commons and iluustrations for articles in WP. While I can understand that WP prefers LaTex over images (I'd prefer it too) so remains still a bad feeling how this was managed. But well, times are a-changing, and I think there might be enough talented young people running the wikipedia so it perhaps does not need such old ones like me. It's like in many governmental institutions, bureaus: you get just informed, that you are/your product is no more needed - "have a nice time..."

Because this is completely different from that how I would prefer to deal-with / behave-in a community, it is perhaps a good moment to reduce my small connection with the WP even more.

It is and likely will longer time be a great resource, anyway; I hope it goes well for all who need it from time to time, or often, or even regularly ...

sincerely -

Gottfried --Gottfried Helms(Druseltal2005) (talk) 05:31, 31 May 2014 (UTC)

Dear Mr. Helms, I'm sorry you feel that this was managed poorly. It was certainly not my intention to make you feel as if your contribution was not valued: indeed, I thought the contents of the image were valuable and interesting! It would be a great pity if the deletion of your image caused you to contribute less. Please let me elaborate on the philosophy behind the deletion. In the first place, raster images (such as png, gif, jpeg) are ill-suited for text (and other simple shape/curve) representation for a variety of reasons, but the most important being that they don't scale well; their quality tends to ratchet down when they are edited (they cannot increase in quality, only decrease or stay the same when saved); and they require external editors to modify them. For these reasons, as a general rule, when an image can be replaced by a vector format, it usually should be. Formulas, however, are even less suited than most to raster representations—and TeX shines in exactly the areas that raster images fail: MediaWiki software can create either PNG, text or mathjax on the fly, but most importantly, they are trivial to edit. The image of yours that was deleted, for example, had a line of text in English at the top. In order to translate this for use on a project in another language (or even use the image where the top line was unneeded), one would have to use graphics editing software. If the translation was much more or less verbose, one might have to re-create the image from scratch to deal with spacing issues. Be that as it may, though, there are sometimes reasons to keep raster images of formulas, see Category:Images with a TeX equivalent to keep. And if you disagree with the deletion, I hope you are aware that Commons:Undeletion requests exists, and you can certainly bring this up there. If it was the manner of deletion, rather than the deletion itself, that made you unhappy, I apologize for that too, and I sincerely hope you could help me understand how to phrase it better so that I don't hurt other people's feelings in the future! Best regards, and I hope you had a wonderful weekend, Storkk (talk) 12:18, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
Dear Storkk -
thank you very much for your comment, that makes things much more convenient. Well, it's just as you formulated: poor managing - I'm fully aware of the benefit of the rule to use (html/mathjax) tables instead of pictures like *.png where it is possible, so no measure has been intended.
More background: it is a very widespread experience in/with the government and/or bureaucracy that you are not asked if they do not absolutely need to, just you feel to become -en passant- managed away, I had it just recently when some inspector found an error on my bus-ticket (for which my institution was responsible), and it's similar with doctors and insurances, and I even see, how many of my younger collegues are dealing with the yearly-new students: just little respect and kindness/fondness if at all. So "bureaucracy" were the least which I hope to where wikipedia would go - but it is (seemingly) a very natural tendency (like "gravity" in the physical world) and awareness and active behave would be needed to prevent that "natural tendency" for common projects like wikipedia.
So, again, thank you for your comment!

  • Use the CommonsDelinker link in the {{Rename}} template to order a bot to replace all ocurrences of the old title with the new one. Or, if there was no rename-request, please use the Move & Replace-tab.
  • Please leave a redirect behind unless you have a valid reason not to do so. Other projects, including those using InstantCommons, might be using the file even though they don't show up in the global usage. Deleting the redirects would break their file references. David Serero picture 2014 / Wiki commons

Hello Thanks for your message. I'm gonna send an email to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org from the photographer email to allow the copyright on wiki commons. Would that be ok? Thanks in advance and very sorry for that mistake? Thanks Didier — Preceding unsigned comment added by VerneuilDidier (talk • contribs) 02:25, 25 June 2014‎ (UTC)

Hi Didier, that would be perfect. Please make sure you read COM:OTRS - often copyright holders say something like "Of course you can use it on Wikipedia". Unfortunately, that is not an acceptable license for Commons - the license needs, for example, to allow for commercial use. See COM:L. Best regards, and I hope we can keep the photos! For future reference, in order to keep these discussions in a central and easy-to-locate place, the place to leave your comment would have been on Commons:Deletion_requests/Files_uploaded_by_VerneuilDidier. I will copy this over there now, so that others can see it. Best regards, Storkk (talk) 08:04, 25 June 2014 (UTC)

To make conversations easier to follow, please sign your talk page messages in the future by putting "~~~~" after your message, which will automatically put your username and the time of the message (look at this or other talk pages - the signatures were all created this way), see here for more. I have permission to freely use that image, but decided to replace it with another, updated image called Holly Van Hart photo.jpg. I replaced the previous jpg with Holly Van Hart photo.jpg and an explanation, and emailed this note regarding the new image (and attached the new image):

The family Gómez Carrillo gave me this photos to include in the article, they have the copyrigth of these photos, today I mentioned them this matter, and they give me the copyrigth. How I can solve this? Excuse me again for my english. --Edgardo Cianciaroso (talk) 15:52, 16 September 2015 (UTC)Thank you very much!

Hi Edgardo. I copied your comment to the correct place, and will reply there. You can write in Spanish (or any language you prefer)! No need to write in English. Storkk (talk) 21:42, 16 September 2015 (UTC)

Tagging copyvios

Hi, When tagging copyvios, please inform the uploader. This is best done using the gagdet. See in your preferences. Thanks, Yann (talk) 12:40, 21 July 2015 (UTC)

Hi @Yann: - I certainly always try to do so. I may have failed on one - but is it possible it was a file that I re-tagged {{Npd}}? It may have no longer been in the Category:Copyright violations except as a stale pointer. Cheers, Storkk (talk) 12:56, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
And thanks for the pointer for the gadget - I had not noticed that before... it may save me a lot of time! Cheers, Storkk (talk) 13:05, 21 July 2015 (UTC)

Gracias, best regards. --Edgardo Cianciaroso (talk) 03:23, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

Hola Edgardo Cianciaroso.

Gracias!!!--186.125.83.218 15:01, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

Hi, I suppose it is not intentional, but you changed Asclepias' signature. Please correct. Regards, Yann (talk) 20:37, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

Any update ?

Any update on the OTRS tickets related to White House Astronomy Night ?

-- Cirt (talk) 16:30, 21 October 2015 (UTC)

@Cirt: no. I'd give it a week before prodding the copyright holder though: he may just not have seen the email yet, or have had time to respond. Storkk (talk) 16:41, 21 October 2015 (UTC)
Okay, sounds good, thank you! -- Cirt (talk) 17:08, 21 October 2015 (UTC)
Alright, he's replied. Can you close the ticket and tag the 7 image pages? Thank you very very much for your help !!! -- Cirt (talk) 00:28, 22 October 2015 (UTC)

Hello,

I've just sent an email with the following message received from the user to the permissions email [Ticket#2015102310005575] :

Forwarded message

From: Marc Venot
Date: Fri, Oct 30, 2015 at 12:51 AM
Subject: my photo (Selfie Timed Camera)
To: muzammiluddin syed

Hello Muzammil,

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Marc_Venot.jpg is my own work and I am releasing it under CC-by-SA 4.0 International license,

regard,

Please add the permission to the pic accordingly

--Muzammil (talk) 19:39, 29 October 2015 (UTC)

Dear Muzammil, I am going on vacation so won't be able to deal with this in enough depth and have asked other OTRS agents to look at it. I personally would need more convincing that this was a self-timed photo, but I will leave it to the discretion of the agent who takes the ticket. Storkk (talk) 21:00, 29 October 2015 (UTC)

Trsic at wintertime

Is photo taken by me and can not be problem with copyright in any way! BTW i live there.— Preceding unsigned comment added by C3H10N4O2 (talk • contribs) 13:48, 3 September 2015‎ (UTC+1)

@C3H10N4O2: The photo was uploaded 6 years ago here on DeviantArt. If you are the photographer, we'd love to keep your photo (and can undelete it if it gets deleted). Could you comment on the deviantArt page using your deviantArt account to show you are indeed the same person? Or, please follow the instructions on COM:OTRS#Declaration of consent for all enquiries. Best regards, Storkk (talk) 13:21, 3 September 2015 (UTC)

I commented on DA. @Storkk: — Preceding unsigned comment added by C3H10N4O2 (talk • contribs) 15:38, 3 September 2015‎ (UTC+1)

@C3H10N4O2: Thanks! I've noted that on the DR page. This should be enough to avoid immediate deletion. It would be best if you could email COM:OTRS anyway: we have procedures in place so that a volunteer teem can archive permissions. Thanks again, Storkk (talk) 15:08, 3 September 2015 (UTC)

Sorry for the confusion

I have put the remaining files to be colour corrected in the Graphic Lab/Photography workshop, so that it is directly visible wich still need to be done. Thanks for the two pictures you did. I tried to do the correction myself but I didnt get en satisfactory result. When I scan slides I have the posibility to adjust the scan parameters so that there almost no colour distortion. It can never be perfect as the aging proces is not lineair and also depends on the ligth intensity.Smiley.toerist (talk) 15:05, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

No worries, I wasn't confused: I was just prompting you to do what you ended up doing, and replacing the sample image (or it wouldn't have made sense to the volunteer looking at your request). Storkk (talk) 15:09, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

Shouldn't be deleted

I got a message saying: Storkk left a message on your talk page in "File:Prakash Panangaden.jpg". File:Prakash Panangaden.jpg has been nominated for deletion.

This file was taken with a personal camera and it completely without any other ownership. Please advise how to avoid deletion.

Thanks, Laurie 74.57.146.95 13:34, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

Please keep all discussion on the deletion request page (which is at Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Prakash_Panangaden.jpg), so that discussion is centralized. I have copied your comment there, and will reply there. Storkk (talk) 14:45, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

Вопрос о получении лицензий

Dear Storkk! Ниже письмо, в конце которого имеются Ваши комментарии "This issue seems to have been successfully resolved (in ticket:2015091710004821). Can this be archived? Storkk (обсуждение) 15:33, 2 December 2015 (UTC)"

Insufficient?

What is insufficient about the OTRS? https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File%3A2011_07-Internal_ReinventTheToilet_Animation.webm&type=revision&diff=180967279&oldid=178945071 Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 13:23, 11 January 2016 (UTC)

The ticket contains no email directly from the copyright holders. Confirmation from them was requested on 2015-12-04, but nothing was subsequently received until your email today. DarwIn has responded now as well, so he is now the ticket owner. Please let me know if there's anything else I can do. Storkk (talk) 17:33, 11 January 2016 (UTC)

WLB notifications

Hello, probably @Crang115: can fix that issue. He is responsible by our tools since the last year. Sorry by that problem Rodrigo Padula (talk) 18:54, 22 January 2016 (UTC)

Ops, my bad. That message was regarding the WLE/WLM statistics tool and the messages sent to you. I have no idea regarding OTRS. Rodrigo Padula (talk) 01:44, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
@Rodrigo Padula: No worries... I think you took care of the issue in 2015. Cheers, Storkk (talk) 10:11, 2 February 2016 (UTC)

Norman Kay.jpg

Hi Storkk,

Re your deletion request for this image. My name is Simon Kay. I uploaded the photograph of my father and I confirm that I am the full copyright owner of this image. If you need any more information, don't hesitate to get in contact.

All the best,

Simon Kay.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaysongs (talk • contribs) 12:08, 3 February 2016‎ (UTC+1)

Dear Mr. Kay, to keep the discussion centralized, I have copied your comment to the deletion discussion page and replied there. Please make any further comments on →the page linked here. We'd love to keep the photograph! Thank you. Storkk (talk) 11:23, 3 February 2016 (UTC)

Hi Storkk,

I've emailed my copyright consent to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org. My apologies if this is the wrong place to inform you of this fact. I'm not very good with Wikipedia. Just wanted to let you know that although I'm not the original photographer (that was my mother, but she died in 2010), I am the current copyright holder of the image.

All the best,

Simon Kay.

Hi Adam... is the {{LargeImage}} template on File:Camille_Saint-Saëns_in_1900_by_Pierre_Petit.jpg (among others) a mistake? Storkk (talk) 10:52, 24 February 2016 (UTC) copied back here to centralize discussion. Storkk (talk) 11:47, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

It MIGHT be, but it's automatically added by the upload tool, so I've been presuming the tool knows what it's doing. It might not! I believe it's added by https://tools.wmflabs.org/yifeibot/downloaders/gallicaupload.py?id=btv1b8453822q&pages=1 when you choose to upload directly from https://tools.wmflabs.org/yifeibot/gallica/index.py Adam Cuerden (talk) 11:22, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) @Adam Cuerden: I see. I've reported it to Rillke and to Dschwen (who used to run a bot to remove that tag from smaller files). I used you as an example, I hope you don't mind; I can understand why you would use the chunked upload for all your files, especially if your internet is flaky. Cheers, Storkk (talk) 11:47, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
Not so much that as that using the import script at least starts to set up the information template, saving a lot of time. (Technically it uses the Artwork template, but I refuse to use that for mass-published works - it's simply not appropriate - so I switch it to Information much of the time. Artwork is suitable for paintings and other unique objects. Emphasising the provenance of, for example, a widely-published book of which one copy is in a particular museum, or - and I have seen people try to do this - a copy I personally own - is not useful, and, worse, if someone finds a better copy and uploads it over, all the previous info has to change) Adam Cuerden (talk) 12:17, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
Well, it doesn't really matter why you use the tool you do... you're entitled to use whatever tool you wish. The tool shouldn't, IMO, automatically add {{LargeImage}} unless the image is in fact large. Cheers, Storkk (talk) 14:34, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
Agreed! I mean, now that I know it's dumb about it I can easily remove it, but still... Mind you, if they're poking at it, they may want to fix the way it sets the default filename. Fails to add .jpg on the end, and thus fails at the last moment. Pretty sure that's part of the importing in of data. In the example, the line:
https://tools.wmflabs.org/yifeibot/output/gallica-btv1b8453822q.f1-xx-xx-xx.jpg [Johann Strauss] / Fritz Luckhardt
Should be - at the least:
https://tools.wmflabs.org/yifeibot/output/gallica-btv1b8453822q.f1-xx-xx-xx.jpg [Johann Strauss] / Fritz Luckhardt.jpg
It may need to strip forbidden characters as well. Adam Cuerden (talk) 08:12, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
This should probably be reported to Zhuyifei1999. Storkk (talk) 08:40, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
That's why technically it's not a "bot", but a "tool". As a "bot" the program itself must ensure everything is corect, but as a "tool" a program prefills the file description page and filename, only for convenience, and users are expected to verify & check all the information there. I'm sorry, but I currently do not have time and interest to implement those. --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 09:22, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

An offering for our new administrator from your comrades...

Storkk, congratulations! You now have administrator rights on Commons. Please take a moment to read the Commons:Administrators page and watchlist related pages (in particular Commons:Administrators' noticeboard and its subpages), before launching yourself into page deletions, page protections, account blockings or modifications of protected pages. The majority of the actions of administrators can be reversed by the other admins, except for history merges which must thus be treated with particular care. Have a look at the list of Gadgets (on the bottom there are the ones specifically for admins – however, for example the UserMessages are very helpful too).

Please feel free to join us on IRC: #wikimedia-commons webchat on irc.libera.chat. There is also a channel for Commons admins, which may be useful for more sensitive topics, or coordination among administrators: #wikimedia-commons-admin webchat.

You may find Commons:Guide to adminship to be useful reading. You can find the admin backlog overview at COM:AB.

Please also check or add your entry to the List of administrators and the related lists by language and date it references.

Congratulations. I am happy, that you are an administrator now. We have currently long backlog of deletion requests. Your help is very appreciated. You can start from simpler and more obvious cases. Taivo (talk) 10:43, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
Thanks, Taivo! I should be able to start helping out tomorrow or Friday. Looking forward to it! Storkk (talk) 11:00, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
Welcome Storkk!! Now, here is a box of things for you: rhinoceros hide flame-proof full coverall suit including gloves, diamond glass facemask, high impact helmet, large box of pencils to chew on, a non-working flamethrower (administrator edition), a fully working time machine to every entry in Commons, a Mark IV mind-reader kit (some assembly required), and a reminder that the rest of us are here for you, don't ever hesitate to ask for help. Cheers! Ellin Beltz (talk) 15:55, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
Thanks, Ellin! Storkk (talk) 17:11, 2 March 2016 (UTC)

Why was this marked for deletion? In addition, why wasn't I notified until just now? --Retep dnesnwot (talk) 15:45, 17 March 2016 (UTC)

@Retep dnesnwot: apologies for the delay in response, I was travelling with limited internet access. As indicated in the deletion request that you linked to (and, contrary to your assertion, of which you were informed on on 9 September 2015), evidence that you are the copyright holder, or that the copyright holder has licensed the file under a free license needs to be provided. This can be done by following the procedures at COM:OTRS, at which point the file's undeletion will be requested by an OTRS agent. Storkk (talk) 09:29, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
