Thanks for uploading File:Zhalo01m.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Zhalo01m.jpg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

Hello, I think you not read carefully yet, the author already allow to use his picture in Copyright Policy in license cc-by-sa-3.0. I can understand why you put that template in picture outright because I member in here to and I know many picutre upload to commons recently have a "weird" info and we don't have time to read them all, so just let think this never happen when the discussed close, I'm a patrol member too you know. Nice to met another member who always want keep Wikipedia clean.Tnt1984 (talk) 08:29, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I answered in discussion thread. I read that lincense, and many files from this blog (because of strange license) were deleted from Commons... Best regards, Smell U Later (talk) 12:48, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ain92 (talk) 17:55, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

С уважением, Smell U Later (talk) 07:21, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ain92 (talk) 10:37, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Smell U Later (talk) 17:24, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ain92 (talk) 20:11, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Smell U Later (talk) 10:58, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Armata Universal Combat Platform: Variants ?[edit]

Hello,

I see that you make valuable contributions in both English and Russian. I was wondering if you could help clear up an apparent misunderstanding?

The English en:Armata Universal Combat Platform and to some extent also the Russian ru:Армата (гусеничная платформа) cite sources that mention the 2S35 "Coalition-SV" as based on the Armata platform.

From looking at the images, this seems clearly to not be the case (just from f.ex. the number of road wheels).

Could you possibly help with some reliable sources that explain the relationship, if any, between the 'Armata Universal Combat Platform' and the '2S35 "Coalition-SV"' ? Thanks. Lklundin (talk) 15:31, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It needs some time to find English sources. I can give you only Russian sources for now. The situation is, that "Koalitsia" SPGs, that will be demonstrated on Victory Day, based on T-90 chassis for now (it stated here for example), and there are some plans in future to change current T-90 chassis to "Armata" platform (small model of Koalitsia on "Armata" chassis is shown here). You can clearly see chassis differences between model on "Armata" chassis, and howitzers, that was shown in Alabino. Best regards, Smell U Later (talk) 16:15, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks for answering. Perhaps I will update the English page when better English sources become available. Thanks again. Lklundin (talk) 19:28, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Help with the name of Ural Typhoon MRAP truck seen at Alabino ?[edit]

The English page on the en:Ural Typhoon has a link to the commons category Category:Ural-63099.

The Ural vehicles in that category look quite different from the Ural Typhoon trucks recently seen at rehearsals in Alabino (for example, the cargo hold of the Alabino trucks has a flat roof, this is not the case with the Ural-63099).

For this reason I created a new category for the Ural Typhoon trucks seen at Alabino: Category:Ural Typhoon-U.

I was wondering if you could help with the actual name of the Ural Typhoon trucks seen at Alabino, and perhaps even create (or rename to) a category with the correct name?

Thanks, Lklundin (talk) 19:43, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

ok, if I'm correct Typhoon-U has base model called Ural-6309, and it's modifications 63091, 63092, ...93, ...94, ...95 etc. At this time Ural shown at least 3 modifications of Typhoon-U truck: Ural-63095, Ural-63099 and Ural 3A Typhoon (with unknown modification index). So I can't really tell what exact Typhoon-U model on those photos. I think it would be better to move Ural-63095 and Ural-63099 categories to Typhoon-U cat. Best regards, Smell U Later (talk) 08:39, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That was a good idea, thanks. Lklundin (talk) 17:24, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
