Thank you

For you – the symbolic thanks with a picture of a traditional Dutch cake

Hello! Now the fuss is over, and hoping nobody will ignite such a discussion in the nearest future, I want to thank you for your friendly and fair approach during the de-crat procedure. I think it helped a lot. I think that RA also appreciates it, because he mentioned it in his quick comments. Now I can also say that you make nice pictures. I like this one especially, because birds also visit my garden during winter and observing them eating is the best remedy against depression. --Seleucidis (talk) 17:11, 30 August 2013 (UTC)

Hello Seleucidis. Thanks for your kind message and for your positive feedback regarding my photos. I appreciate that you find that I have acted fairly during the process. One of the good things about the entire process has been interacting with you. Although we have different opinions on what would be the best outcome, I have appreciated learning your point of view. Your last message on my page made me think about how to best land this, and it made me write the 'gentle(wo)mens' section referred to. I like that photo of the fieldfare myself. Technically, not the best (I do not owe a zoom lens good enough for 'real' birds photography), but the light, frost and January morning light is good. You know, a large flock of fieldfares came that New Years day morning and robbed a rowan tree in my front yard for berriers, while this blackbbird witnessed its food dissapear. --Slaunger (talk) 20:48, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
