Status of subst'ing license templates

How's the bot assisted subst of user license templates going? --Tony Wills (talk) 23:01, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Ehhmm, not too good actually. It was quite dissapointing to spend so much time on the Fir0002 case only to see him retire within having gotten a solution, which was accepted by him. I do not want the bot to do edits, which creators have not agreed upon. As a matter of fact I do not quite know what to do with the Fir licensing issue. Then I have been negotiating with Gnangarra, and there I am close to having things settled albeit there has been a pause. --Slaunger (talk) 11:58, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

To be fair

I am about to award the strangest barnstar I ever have. It should have been given to you some time ago, but I was blocked and could not to do it back then. Now the time is not exactly right, but I have to be fair, so here it is:

The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
I'd like to thank you for your kind offline support in trying to arrange a conflict resolution between lycaon and me. I will never forget what you've done for me while working long, hard hours at sea. Thank you very much!--Mbz1 (talk) 16:28, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

And while I am here anyway, I'd like to remind you about one image of a false mirage you emailed to me. Remember, it was an image of a boat, that seemed to be hanging up in the sky? I happened to see something similar few weeks ago. I emailed my images to Dr. Young and he said that both calm sea and mirage made it possible [1]. I'd like to end up with giving you full permission to remove my post from your talk page.--Mbz1 (talk) 16:28, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

Hi mila, thank you for the barnstar and for telling me about the ships and islands floating on the sea. It brings back memories of some astonishing views at sea, long days and lots of good mail correspondence.--Slaunger (talk) 20:59, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
