Thanks! I've fixed it. Not sure how I overlooked it before, as I thought I was paying close attention to the overlap pattern.SidShakal (talk) 04:52, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for comment. If it makes you feel any better, the Renaissance craftsmen responsible for File:Biblioteca_medicea_laurenziana,_pavimento_02.JPG also made an interlacing error! AnonMoos (talk) 07:03, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ha, that's great. That must have bugged him for the rest of his life. SidShakal (talk) 04:30, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Farbkreis Itten[edit]

Hi, I have adapted the colors from: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Farbkreis_Itten_1961.svg

However, I'm not allowed to overwrite the original file, so can you do sth about it? I uploaded it here: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Farbkreis_Itten_1961-CMKY.svg

The problem with the original are the slight off colors, esp. the violet, violet-red and red are quite off in the svg version.

I created the SVG to conform to the original PNG (File:Farbkreis_Itten_1961.png). As such, the colors in the SVG are the colors in the PNG.
As I have no familiarity with the origin or meaning of the image, I feel unqualified to make any change that breaks fidelity to the version I based the SVG on. However, you should be able to do so yourself. If you are a very new user, you may be disallowed from posting new versions to things for a certain period of time, or something. Wait for that period of time to pass, and then upload your version as a new version of the file. (I have not done this recently enough to remember what the process is, if I have indeed ever done it.)
As a side note, it is very helpful to sign your comments with a sequence of four tildes (~), at the end. The posting system will automatically replace the four tildes with your username and a timestamp.
Thank you, and good luck! :-)
