Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Made a mistake?

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.
Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Hola, Queryzo Creo que estamos en un bucle difícil de resolver para alguien como yo, que no soy un experto en Wikipedia. La productora BLOGMEDIA ha escrito ya varios mails a permissions-es@wikimedia.org tanto dándome permiso para utilizar las imágenes como para indicar que tanto ésta como todas las que han sido borradas están libres de derechos (pongo esta respuesta en todas las discusiones) Lo que ocurre, me comentan, que el tema de las licencias y el common es complejo y farragoso, ¿no habría alguna manera fácil para los que no son usuarios de wikipedia de subir las imágenes a alguna página desde la que wikipedia considere que están libres de derechos? Es muy frustrante para la productora que no se puedan subir unas imágenes suyas, de las que además tienen interés en que formen parte de las páginas de Wikipedia. Tanto ellos como yo queremos solucionar de una vez este embrollo. ¿Nos podríais ayudar por favor? Hola, Túrelio Como estoy intentando explicar a todos los que veláis por respetar los derechos de la imágenes, y me parece muy bien, en este caso, me temo que estamos en un bucle difícil de resolver para alguien como yo, que no soy un experto en Wikipedia. La productora BLOGMEDIA ha escrito ya varios mails a permissions-es@wikimedia.org tanto dándome permiso para utilizar las imágenes como para indicar que tanto esta imagen que indicas como otras que han sido borradas están libres de derechos (pongo esta respuesta en todas las discusiones) Lo que ocurre, me comentan, que el tema de las licencias y el common es complejo y farragoso, ¿no habría alguna manera fácil para los que no son usuarios de wikipedia de subir las imágenes a alguna página desde la que wikipedia considere que están libres de derechos? Es muy frustrante para la productora que no se puedan subir unas imágenes suyas, de las que además tienen interés en que formen parte de las páginas de Wikipedia. Tanto ellos como yo queremos solucionar de una vez este embrollo. ¿Nos podríais ayudar por favor? Muchísimas gracias. SergioAR86
