No soy experto en este área, pero sí considero que las gotas coloreadas han sobrepasado el umbral de originalidad, dado que el color y relleno puede variar, pero esto depende del país. En esta página hay un par de ejemplos que ilustran que inelegibilidad para el copyright no puede ser medido. Por ejemplo, se refiere a esta imagen, que no ha superado el umbral de originalidad, basada en un mapa sin sombras y en blanco y negro. Por ello, no sabría qué decir, por lo que recomiendo que intentéis llegar a un acuerdo mutuamente. Savh^ñ 09:54, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

• Use the CommonsDelinker link in the {{Rename}} template to order a bot to replace all ocurrences of the old title with the new one.
• Please do not tag redirects as {{Speedy}}. Other projects, like InstantCommons, might be using the file even though they don't show up in the global usage. Deleting the redirects would break their file references.
• Please know and follow the file rename guidelines.

About the new york nights images

First of all, I would like to say hello Savh. I'm Kakoolookiyam and I am responsible for the uploading of the 4 images here in wikimedia. Also, I used those photos on new york nights' page in wikipedia, however, it was removed. I would like to ask why it was considered a copyright violation? THOSE PHOTOS WERE MY OWN WORK. I have to admit I was gonna get pictures from the internet but when I read about the terms and conditions of uploading photos, I decided to take pictures of the game in the same manner as those that I have found on the internet. that is the reason why the pictures look similar to those I found on the internet. I was hoping that you could do something about these photos and in case I did violate the copyright policy, I would like to apologize...

Would you friendly refrain from renaming windstorm sat pictures agaisnt naming conventions. We do not name such pictures "hurricane" or "cyclone" and the else because of the status of such storms is changing every six hours. As a rule of thumb: if you don't know about a theme you should not start renaming files in this theme area. Thank you very much for starting confusion, at the time Mahasen still was technically a "cyclonic storm" at that moment (and still is). Unfortunately, most people find it very hard to know what they don't know, so when someone with good intentions requests a rename from a seemingly meaningless name to one with additional information, and which seems correct after a short Google search, I find it quite excessive to write this aggressive reply in which you imply this wrong (silly) rename has generated confusion while affirming this type of requests should only be left to experts in the field of the object depicted in the image. People make mistakes, I am also human, and this is an open wiki, where most of us simply try to help. I appreciate constructive feedback, but this definitely isn't. Savh^ñ 07:55, 18 May 2013 (UTC)

Photo has been deleted

Savh, thanks for your reply regarding 'please do not delete the image'. It's been a torture to get anything done in Wikipedia, although I followed all instructions. I just asked the owner of the photo (whose headshot's on it) to send the appropriate message to wikimedia and provide the photographer information. It's going to be done, but meantime, Fran Hauser, who is a President of huge organization, is going to have a big event to her honor. How do I quickly restore this picture for now? Thanks a lot.

Te he querido responder a través del IRC, pero al parecer no estás. Marcar todos estos archivos me parece una perdida de tiempo, casi todas las imágenes que he verificado son copyvio's claros, y la mayoría ni tiene metadata. En mi aviso al usuario, le advertí de que no subiera más copyvios y continuó, ignorando también la parte en la que le proponía examinar sus contribuciones pasadas. Sobre el cambio de nombre

Sé que he sido un poco terco, pero la cuestión deriva de que un compañero vuestro me ha permitido ir cambiando todos los nombres de los archivos que he ido proponiendo. Claro, comprendo la política de este lugar. Pero da mucha rabia, ver la cantidad de archivos que hay desperdigados, perdidos, mal catalogados,... Y en el fondo, mi petición es para el futuro. Error gramatical

Hola, en una plantilla de este proyecto, más concretamente en la de proponer la eliminación de un archivo, aparece un error gramatical debido a una de las diversas pronunciaciones del castellano (es:ceceo). En este caso dice así:

Haz clic aquí para mostrar el resto de instrucciones Si esta plantilla se ha añadido porque haz hecho clic en "Nominate for deletion" en el menú de la izquierda, por favor asegúrate de que todas las páginas necesarias se hayan creado. Si no se han creado después de unos minutos, o si se ha añadido la plantilla de forma manual, debes completar estos pasos:

Dear Savh,

The 2013 Picture of the Year competition has ended and we are pleased to announce the results: We shattered participation records this year — more people voted in Picture of the Year 2013 than ever before. In both rounds, 4070 different people voted for their favorite images. Additionally, there were more image candidates (featured pictures) in the contest than ever before (962 images total).

• In the first round, 2852 people voted for all 962 files
• In the second round, 2919 people voted for the 50 finalists (the top 30 overall and top 2 in each category)

Important message for file movers

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

• To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
• To perform file name swaps.
• When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. La página de Ecured no menciona una licencia propia, pero puede que esté en el dominio público por el paso del tiempo - depende de cuándo se haya pintado. Puede que aplique Commons:When_to_use_the_PD-Art_tag. Por otro lado, los memes que has subido y que claramente no son enteramente tu trabajo sí constituyen una clara violación del copyright. Estación de Cintruénigo/Fitero

Hola Savh. He visto que subiste esta imagen a Commons sobre la antigua estacion de Cintruénigo. Sin embargo, me temo que la identificación que hace el autor de la foto es errónea, pues la estación de Cintruénigo se encuentra en uso y en pleno casco urbano (aunque las vías han sido levantadas en la trama urbana). Estación de Los Cansinos

Hola de nuevo Savh. Me he encontrado con otra foto que subiste que parece estar mal ubicada por el autor original. Por lo que he estado mirando, la zona de "Los Cansinios" parece que está en la línea Alcázar de San Juan-Cádiz, y de hecho cuenta con una estación propia (un apartadero). Hola de nuevo. Me he querido cerciorar de nuevo, esta vez en google maps, y desde esta perspectiva (de acuerdo a las coordenadas que da la fotografía) parece ser el sitio correcto, en la línea Córdoba-Málaga. Pero la zona es la de la estación de Valchillón, no Los Cansinos, así que adaptaré la información. Mi confusión ha venido por la doble vía que aparece en la imagen, pero luego he caído en la cuenta que «Andaluces» añadió una segunda vía en esta zona en 1931 para reforzar el tráfico de la línea Marchena-Valchillón. Además, supongo que al igual que las otras fotos de este autor, debe ser de la década de 1970 (aunque en Flickr aparezca la fecha en que se subió a la plataforma).
