First steps tutorial

Our first steps help file and our FAQ will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy. You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold contributing here and assume good faith for the intentions of others. This is a wiki ‒ it is really easy.

Getting help

More information is available at the Community Portal. You may ask questions at the Help desk, Village Pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (direct access). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at Commons talk:Licensing.

Goodies, tips and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your Graphics abilities.
  • All your uploads are stored in your personal Gallery
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~
  • Use the CommonSense tool to find good categories for your files (then other people can find them too!)
  • To link to an image page, write this: [[:Image:Foo.jpg]], it makes this: Image:Foo.jpg
  • If you're copying files from another project, be sure to use the CommonsHelper

L'ho segnalata, forse chi l'ha caricata ha qualche permesso. Altrimenti, non credo si possa trasferire su it.wiki, perché non penso sia un marchio registrato (ma andrebbe fatta una ricerca), e non si può usare il fair use per i loghi di squadre sportive. Grazie. Ho segnalato le due immagini che evidentemente non sono da {{PD-Italy}}. Per quanto riguarda File:Collagecinemaitaliano.PNG sarebbe meglio trasferire le due immagini in locale su it.wiki qui su Commons, in modo da avere gli originali. Condivido le tue perplessità. Finché Commons accetta il Pd-Italy, che le immagini si trovino su Commons o it.wiki non fa differenza, anche se, a mio avviso, per logica sarebbe meglio avere gli originali su Commons (rende più facile far capire ai non it.wikipediani che le immagini sono libere e si hanno gli originali di un'immagine composta anche se un domani venissero cancellati da it.wiki). Se, di punto in bianco, con i dubbi che hai giustamente evidenziato tu, Commons torna a considerare non valido il Pd-Italy, non importa che le immagini siano su it.wiki, perché per Commons sono non libere e quindi anche un mosaico che le "ospita" è di conseguenza non libero. In definitiva, capirai quindi la mia riluttanza a chiudere la richiesta di cancellazione negativamente finchè la situazione del Pd-Italy non è stabilizzata. Avere gli originali trasferiti qui su Commons sarebbe un po' come dire "guardate che qui le immagini arrivano da it.wiki, io comincio a chiudere le cancellazioni con kept perché adesso le accettiamo, se avete qualcosa da ridire svegliatevi adesso, non dopo", giusto per spiegarti come la penso ;) Vedo comunque di chiudere la cancellazione, l'immagine, in questo momento, è mantenibile.--Trixt (talk) 21:16, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ciao. Il template PD-Italia-film su it.wiki esiste solo per motivi di categorizzazione, non è un tag di copyright diverso; serve solo per tenere separati gli screenshot dalle fotografie. Qui non c'è questo sistema (magari più avanti si farà), ma {{PD-Italy}} va benissimo anche per gli screenshot cinematografici (e se guardi nella talk del template leggerai che è stato usato pure per quelli televisivi...). Per quanto riguarda il messaggio qui sopra, semplicemente Filnik non ha ancora detto al suo bot che il PD-Italy non è più deprecato ;P Ho rimosso l'avviso dalla pagina del file.--Trixt (talk) 09:33, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Per me non ci sono problemi, si può stare tranquilli, si rientra abbastanza bene nel cosiddetto "de minimis": in pratica, il retro delle carte - copyrighted - c'è, ma è talmente un dettaglio che si può trascurare; inoltre, la foto è a bassissima risoluzione e sfocata, quindi anche volendo non si potrebbe estrapolare il disegno del retro originale. Al limite, se vuoi evitare che qualcuno ne richieda la cancellazione in quanto "out of scope" (immagine inutilizzabile nei progetti Wikimedia, a bassa risoluzione, sfocata, ce ne sono di migliori, ecc.), io ci metterei {{Userpageimage}}. Sportello[edit]

Ciao. Su Commons si potrebbe caricare solo una fotografia libera, ma occorre che chi detiene i diritti d'autore sull'edificio (di solito l'architetto) acconsenta alla pubblicazione della foto. Su it.wiki si potrebbe caricare una fotografia anche non libera (grazie all'EDP), ma anche in questo caso il permesso del titolare alla pubblicazione è d'obbligo.--Trixt (talk) 20:32, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ciao. Secondo me possono stare, ma non con {{PD-because}}, ma con {{Copyrighted free use}}. La parte "but don't just rip art resources and pass them around, that's no fun." penso sia riferita al copiare e usare in altri programmi texture o altri elementi grafici, perché sugli screenshot intesi come schermate per mostrare il gioco mi pare proprio esplicito.--Trixt (talk) 19:51, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
