Google OCR Tool[edit]

- Yup, it seems to be pretty good for things like images of plaques and signs (e.g.). Do you mean that it's not very good for other less-legible text-images? Yeah, it's true. Hmm... do you think it's a bit too optimistic to have that note there? Perhaps so. I guess just a note on {{Transcribe here}} and {{Inscription}} could be better. I just wanted to draw attention to the fact that there's sometimes a quicker way to get the text! :-) Feel free to make whatever changes you see fit! :-) SWilson (WMF) (talk) 23:41, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
