Я внезапно сумел увидеть вверху страницы the smiling dog в солнечных очках с длинными ушами по бокам. Однако, это так здорово, что не могу молчать.--PereslavlFoto (talk) 23:22, 29 May 2012 (UTC)

Notification about possible deletion

Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Russavia in the news

Just thought you might want to know that you were mentioned in a recent news story. -- Thekohser (talk) 15:06, 30 May 2012 (UTC)

That's nice dear. Are you looking for comment from me? russavia (talk) 21:27, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
I'd have commented, but apparently you need to be on facebook to do so. Sorry. -mattbuck (Talk) 21:37, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
I have removed the link that continues to engage in harassment of one of our editors. Thekohser, you are reminded not to continue to use Commons to engage in harassment of other editors, nor to link to offsite harassment of our editors. russavia (talk) 09:22, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

When closing request (Bots, Admins) and de-listing them, could you write the result in the edit-summary (like on Commons:Bots/Requests for example File Upload Bot (99of9) (approved), please? That's helpful for watchlists, etc. Thanks in advance. -- RE rillke questions? 06:32, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

OTRS

How do you manage to get so many OTRS approvals? What is your secret? ;) Tomer T (talk) 09:05, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Whatever do you mean Tomer T? ;) russavia (talk) 09:22, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
I mean, you upload many images from different authors, with OTRS approvals. How do you manage to convince so many of them to upload the files in a free license to Commons? Tomer T (talk) 12:10, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
Being an aviation enthusiast myself, I am plugged in with the community of aviation photographers, so I am known. If you check he:User:Russavia you will see that I am uploading a number of Israeli-related images at the moment from a widish range of subjects. I think I will have to start to contact some of the Israeli-based aviation photographers, and start to get permission from those photographers too. As to the secret, I simply tell them what Commons is, why we need their photos, and answer any questions that they may have to allay any concerns/queries they might have. russavia (talk) 21:02, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

I was in Ottawa yesterday and took photos of two sites on your required photos list: here and here. Cheers. --Skeezix1000 (talk) 21:54, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Thanks a lot for that Skeezix1000. Much appreciated. russavia (talk) 21:57, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi Russavia, hope you're well. Could you please do me a favor and stop fixing files like the one above? I'm using a bot to reverse the changes and add OTRS tags, and it could cause problems if the files have already been 'fixed'. Thanks, FASTILY (TALK) 01:53, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

Copyvio or not?

Hello! Could you please check this deletion request? I've already asked High Contrast about it but he doesn't think that this is blatant copyvio. But I think it is. «PD-RU-exempt» cannot be used here. Photos are not documents. Am I right? Tnx in advance. James R. Nockson (talk) 13:02, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

You are right Nockson, and I have just closed the DR as a delete, as is required by our copyright policy. Cheers, russavia (talk) 13:18, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
Many thanks! Is there anywhere at Commons a page with this statement («photos are not documents») to which I can refer to in similar cases? James R. Nockson (talk) 13:25, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
Hey mate, I am not entirely sure if there is such a page with said statement, but it is long-standing that photos are not documents; as you rightly mentioned on the DR, we even had to get special permission from Kremlin.ru for their photos. Feel free to ping me in future if required on such matters ok. russavia (talk) 14:00, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
OK. Thanks again! Have a nice day! James R. Nockson (talk) 14:08, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi, the tag on airliners.net is not correct. I can't tell where the picture has been taken, but it's certainly not Luxembourg. Anyone at lb:wikipedia can confirm this. Cheers --Jwh (talk) 21:36, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Hmmm, ok, I will revert back to the photographer on airliners.net and see if they can remember where the photo was taken and get them to update it as needed. Perhaps they have made it Findel, due to Cargo Lion being a Luxembourgish (now defunct) airline. Cheers for the info. russavia (talk) 21:48, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Status of defenseimagery.mil

Hi! Sorry for bothering you again, but due to this deletion request filed against my upload I've come to ask - maybe we should include http://www.defenseimagery.mil as trusted website and develop a license tag specially for it? This site is really an official hosting for US Department of Defense media. People question status of photos from it over and over. We should deal with this now, I think. James R. Nockson (talk) 19:15, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

No problem with contacting me, it is obviously a DOD work. It is possible to create a defenseimagery.mil licencing template I guess, but this would obviously require a heap of transclusions to be fixed, and also layout, etc. A good place to ask about if a template is needed, and what form it should take, could be asked at COM:VP. Alternatively, User:Multichill may be of some use here, given that they have been active in the past in uploaded files to Commons from the site. Hope this helps. russavia (talk) 05:33, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
Just've asked him. Thanks! James R. Nockson (talk) 14:57, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

faWiki

Hello mate!.. Thanks for fixing the mess I made with my category in commons :P
I think you noticed the Polandball article changes.. Apparently one of faWiki's old sysops has found it a bit racist.. Particularly the Polandball comic that I put on it. I'm talking to him/her to see if I could fix it.
And thanks about the Iranball :).. That's just easier (and better) than both of them :P. But between those two I think I'd prefer the imperial one.. Which is REALLY difficult to draw! :D
By the way have you translated(/started translating) that article to French yet?VyatanaT 21:07, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

Airlines

Hi, after your massage regarding the Commons Aviation Project I decided to give a little help, not only uploading some my aviation pictures. I decided to check all than more 2200 airlines by name in Commons Category: Airlines by name and verify if any airlines article in enwiki has the commons cat and vice versa. I noticed that the articles regarding the airlines not all have the same structure; sometimes References is prior to External links, sometime is afterward; Commonscat sometimes is in External links, some others in References and so for Portals too. The Templates Airlines of Country are not all updated and I trying to do them too. I saw that the airlines articles in itwiki are written all in the same format Saudia so I tried to do the same in enwiki. Evidently the things are not going in the right manner because I received a massage that you may read in my enwiki talk page. I’d like to know if I am right to uniform the structure of the articles in enwiki or should I stop. Thanks. Chesipiero (talk) 17:11, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi Chesipiero, your photo uploads and the work you have been doing here on Commons have of course been noticed and is much appreciated. In relation to articles on enwiki, structure of articles and the like should be discussed on either the article talk page or at en:WP:AVIATION. The message on your talk page saying that you have been engaging in vandalism is not on; good faith edits to articles should never be called vandalism. Particularly when the work you have been doing there is something that is much needed. I'd say take it up with the English Wikipedia aviation wikiproject, and see what the outcome is. Don't hesitate to contact me if you need more assistance/advice/etc russavia (talk) 19:46, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

New finding

Hello Russavia!

Take a look at this new finding on Flick: [1]

Cheers, --Dura-Ace (talk) 21:40, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi, earlier this month you rightly nominated some pictures of the Boerentoren. I'm puzzled why you did nominate files Boerentoren 3, 7 and 8.jpg but not 4, 5 and 6.jpg? (they are currently nominated for deletion here)--Vera (talk) 09:40, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

When you get a chance, would you mind revisiting that discussion? I just noticed a file using the {{LDS}} license template, which is still marked as OTRS pending, and it is mentioned in that thread, along with two other licenses, one of which is also still OTRS pending. What is the status of these? Logan Talk Contributions 06:25, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Please also check permission for Template:BruceDrum as files are up for deletion now. --Denniss (talk) 11:08, 2 July 2012 (UTC)

All images with this tag at en-wiki and ru-wiki were relicensed or deleted, and only around 300 files are left on Commons (and you proposed them to deletion procedure). I think, that it is possible to rename Template:PD-Russia to Template:Deprecated-PD-Russia (or smth like this) and retag relevant files (my bot could make such retagging). And thereafter Template:PD-Russia-2008 (more than 4.5 years passed) could be renamed to Template:PD-Russia for simplification (retagging is not planning for relevant files, there are too many of them). What do you think? Alex Spade (talk) 09:40, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi mate, that would obviously be the end result, but at the moment there are still approximately 240 open DR's using {{PD-Russia}} which need to be closed. I think your proposal is obviously a good idea, but as the DR's make specific mention of {{PD-Russia}} in the nominations, do you think that might be a little problematic in that it will possibly confuse other editors? What do you think? russavia (talk) 21:16, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
We can replace statement "PD-Russia is no longer valid" by "Previous version of PD-Russia (see [[Template:Deprecated-PD-Russia]]) is no longer valid" in respective DR's. But I understand that such edits can be considered as superfluous edits. So, I think, it is possible to wait a little. :) Alex Spade (talk) 15:28, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
The quickest and easiest way, I think, would be to get some admins to help close some of the DR's in Category:PD-Russia -- all files are DR'ed (by myself), so I can't probably go thru and close them myself. russavia (talk) 15:42, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi,

Why are you removing {{NoSpam}} ? It's a way to prevent spam...

Cheers.--Bapti 14:34, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi, I have removed the template because it is frankly a pain in the ass for our clients to be able to use. Particularly when you search google for permissions-commons@wikipedia.org it is obvious that spammers already have our email address, so there is no point in using such techniques, when it is confusing for our clients. russavia (talk) 02:32, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Australian War Memorial event

We're tentatively looking at August 25 for a photography taking session at the Australian War Memorial. (This may be subject to change.) Photographers would be allowed to license their pictures CC-BY and the primary purpose being to photograph some exhibits about the Great War before they close. This isn't about taking pictures of specific things, but of the exhibits inside. It would be in Canberra obviously but out of town people would be more than welcome.  :) You can request funding from WM-AU for travel if you need it. As more details become available, such as the exact time and where inside to meet, I'll post on the Australian notice board. We'd love to see you there. :) --LauraHale (talk) 09:52, 23 July 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the notice Laura. I will see where am I at. Will see about WM-AU funding and the like, once I see what my schedule will be like for other things. Cheers, russavia (talk) 02:29, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Devoirs de vacances

You inquired as to whether Florida law prohibits the material that was deleted in this discussion, and my understanding of the law is that it does not prohibit the material. Zoophilia is merely a psychological tendency and obviously not prohibited and, while bestiality itself is prohibited under Florida law, there is no such prohibition on depictions of bestiality. What Florida law does restrict is the distribution of such material to minors. However, that part of the law appears to only explicitly prohibit dissemination of material depicting bestiality to minors if it is done for financial gain. Another part of Florida law restricts any dissemination of "obscene" material to minors, but under the usual definition of obscene as anything that "lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value." I believe, given what I have read about the video, that it clearly has such value and thus cannot be considered obscene material. So, I do not believe there is any element of Florida or U.S. law that prohibits this material.--The Devil's Advocate (talk) 16:22, 23 July 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the info. As it stands at the moment, without firm legal advice from a practicing practitioner I am unlikely to go ahead and undelete the video -- particularly as I don't know if it contains zoophilia or beastiality -- and I am unlikely to go ahead and check the video for myself on that basis. I wouldn't be opposed, however, to an undeletion discussion taking place. russavia (talk) 02:31, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Pointers

I've noticed you upload many aviation pictures from various websites. There are a few that I would be interested in uploading, inparticularly from MyAviation.net. Are all images of these sites freely licensed? How do you license them when uploading them? I was wondering if you could give me a few tips/pointers. Cheers. Mtaylor848 (talk) 10:59, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

Heya, sorry, I haven't replied earlier, for some reason the yellow message thingy didn't appear.
In relation to Myaviation.net, all photos on there, just like any other site are copyrighted and are not able to be uploaded to commons without appropriate permission. If you refer to Category:Aviation photographs by photographer these are photographers from whom we have permission to upload and use their photos. In each category is an information template which is used for licencing, and also the specific photos which can be uploaded. If you give me some links (or ideas of type of photos you want), I can take a look, and if neeeded can possibly contact the photographers asking for permission (if we don't already have). Cheers russavia (talk) 04:02, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Thanks, I will do that when I get a bit of time. Mtaylor848 (talk) 19:01, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi, as you suggested here are some images I would quite like sourcing. If it makes it easier, I have a used category Category:Mtaylor848 holding category and you can place them in here and I will categorise them. Thanks for your help

I appreciate there is a lot here (perhaps rather more than you were expecting), so what you get through is of course up to you. Thanks, Mtaylor848 (talk) 15:33, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi Takabeg, in relation to {{Attribution-TRGov-Military}} and the photos which are found in Category:Images from the Turkish Armed Forces, I have reviewed ticket:2012071110005537 and there is nothing in this ticket that I can find which even comes close to giving permission as stated in the template. In particular, "Redistribution, derivative work, commercial use, and all other use is permitted." are not explicitly allowed for in the email from their officer. Unfortunately I will have to nominate all of these images for deletion as per previous precedent. There will be some time in order to get correct permission, as outlined at COM:OTRS. russavia (talk) 22:22, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi. I'm not OTRS member. You'd better ask User:Taysin and/or User:とある白い猫. Thank you. Takabeg (talk) 22:28, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
P.S. I proposed to related OTRS users to send and/or show {{Attribution-TRGov-Military}} to copyright holders and ask whether they approve this tag or not. Thank you. Takabeg (talk) 23:37, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
File:Gestair Cargo Boeing 757-200 JBM.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

  • Russavia, ты что по-человечески не мог мне объяснить ситуацию, как вчера это сделал Jim. Jim said, "Commons requires that all images be free for commercial use, so the Estonian FOP provisions do not help us, as they allow only non-commercial use. It is too bad that people and countries that specify "non-commercial only" do not understand that that forbids use on almost all webs sites and almost printed materials -- "commercial use" includes any book or magazine that is sold (including textbooks) and any website run by a for profit company, any website that has advertising on it, and any website run by a not for profit organization if it solicits money or sells things to raise money".

Давай, удаляй быстрей, пока не скопировали, я лицензии снял (у меня нет прав на эти произведения искусства), но всё равно могут сослаться, что была, с приветом, --PjotrMahh1 (talk) 06:09, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

PjotrMahh1, I have only just the DRs in question, I didn't add them to my watchlist. Please refer to COM:FOP#Estonia for further information on freedom of panorama in Estonia. russavia (talk) 15:56, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

Russavia, would you mind closing this? I mentioned it in an ArbCom case, so I imagine that people might be paying attention to it. Thanks. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 01:17, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

whilst you may have mentioned this, obviously at english wikipedia because commons doesnt have nor need an arbcom, i will not close any discussion on this project based on things that occur on another project. Even moreso when when the case, which i dont know nor care about, does not concern this image. I have looked over the discussion in question, and i am happy to close it when and only when a solid policy based consensus is formed. At this point in time there is no such consensus, so i would leave the discussion open longer for such consensus to form. You are of course free to make note of this where you have raised this image, but as you know i only close discussions based on commons policy and the strength of arguments presented, and not by counting 'votes'. You are also free to ask another admin to close the discussion, and if you do this i would appreciate you linking to this, and they are free to close it. russavia (talk) 07:34, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
No worries, just thought I'd give you a heads up that this might become a high-profile example for Commons. I know you like to delete those. If you change your mind, please link to this discussion. Thanks! Delicious carbuncle (talk) 21:22, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
I am not going to close discussions on this project based upon them perhaps being mentioned in the media as part of a crusade by other parties. I am stating that there is not yet policy-based consensus in that DR to close it as a delete. I am happy to close it right now, if you so desire, but I am telling you now it would be a keep close. russavia (talk) 07:45, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
Yes, please close it as a "keep" and link to this discussion. Thanks very much - I appreciate this. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 15:06, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, but I have already said that I would not be closing it at this time, because there is no policy-based consensus at this time. I'm not here to play silly buggers Delicious Carbuncle, and it seems you wish for me to play into such things. I suggest you find another admin who is willing to do so, but this admin is not. russavia (talk) 11:23, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
Russavia, I must have misunderstood your offer to close the deletion discussion. My apologies. I'm sure another admin will close it eventually. Incidentally, why do deletion discussions on Commons not have any kind of time limit? Delicious carbuncle (talk) 15:45, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
DRs on Commons tend to stay open for a week; sometimes less in clear cut cases, but can often stay open longer... e.g. Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:GNU head russavia (talk) 19:45, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

Bot request backlog

Thanks for clearing out an entry from the bot backlog. But it doesn't seem like people are turning out in any large numbers to comment on the backlogged requests. I'm wondering how things should proceed at this point - in particular, should bureaucrats be given (or claim) the opportunity to provisionally allow a bot flag after some time period if there's no real objection or attempt to decide a consensus at the requests page? No, this image does not need an OTRS ticket, the review by me as a trusted user is sufficient. I have spelt out precisely what I checked at the time of my review in the information table just to make sure it cannot possibly be misinterpreted again, refer to this change. Thanks -- (talk) 14:50, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
Agent001, this is correct. All comics on polandballnews have been released under CC-0. The licence review as part of {{Polandballnews}} confirms this. Should the licencing on the blog change anytime in the future (which I doubt it will) I will be sure not to be uploading from the site in question. russavia (talk) 19:11, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

IDENT might not be a valid reason for this deletion. A DR was more appropriate than a speedy deletion anyway. --TwoWings * to talk or not to talk... 15:06, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

I have used my discretion as an admin and deleted this file due to a COM:IDENT issue. I do not intend on undeleting the files for it to be taken to DR, only for it to be deleted again, for that would only serve to feed a numerous number of trolls whom this project is better off not having to deal with, nor feed. You are, of course, free to approach another admin with your request to undelete this file, and if you do so, please link to this response so that they are aware. Cheers, russavia (talk) 20:45, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

Photos uploaded from airliners.net

Hi, you uploaded nice photos from airliners.net. It would be nice if you could include the infos relating to the photos on airliners.net, like I did here: File:US Navy McDonnell YF-4J Phantom II Newton-1.jpg. If you might need any help, I'd be glad to provide any assistance. Cheers Cobatfor (talk) 10:47, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

Another missing OTRS case

Please investigate what happened to the permission for Template:BruceDrum --Denniss (talk) 01:17, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know. I've amended the date to give time for this to be investigated, and to prevent any possible deletion. Cheers, russavia (talk) 01:40, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
Noise is the least of one's troubles at Maho Beach!!

Is that a real photo? Why doesn't anybody have their hands over their ears? -- AnonMoos (talk) 15:31, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

Indeed it is a real photo. It is the famous en:Maho Beach in St Maarten. Take a look at Category:Princess Juliana Airport to see some more photos from the beach. The runway beings right over the other side of the fence on the right hand side. When going to St Maarten, aviation enthusiast or not, it's a must do!! russavia (talk) 15:39, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

Pseudo-Aeroflot

Hi! I see that you've added category CCCP-780361 (aircraft) into Aeroflot category. But this An-71 was never used by them, it's experimental military aircraft. Because of that I want to ask you - Aeroflot category is intended for all planes that wear its colors or only for ones that were actually used by Aeroflot? --James R. Nockson (talk) 16:43, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

Hey mate, I think we can use Aeroflot categories for such things, as it doesn't do any harm; given that people might look under Aeroflot for it, given that the aircraft has Aeroflot markings. What do you think?
Also, have you seen our latest permissions? I've got a heap more here to go thru and start getting up onto Commons. Hopefully you find something in amongst them all that will come in handy for your needs. russavia (talk) 16:49, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
  • I dunno, maybe we should create a subcategory for fake Aeroflot planes? There are a lot of them, like every single military Il-76.
  • About permissions - big thanks for what you're doing. I have my own list of needed photos/photographers and I always check your updates for them. At this time none appeared but I can already tell - having photos by Aleksandr Medvedev from RP here is really awesome, I love his works.
  • And a little bad news - I've just discovered that you've uploaded a duplicate (File:Ukrainian Navy Kamov Ka-29 Bubin-1.jpg) of a file that I've uploaded nearly a year ago (File:Kamov Ka-29 in 2010.jpg).

Best regards, James R. Nockson (talk) 17:02, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

OK....

  1. Fake Aeroflot planes, probably not the best category name, but yes, it is a good idea. Can I leave that in your capable hands to do? File:Aeroflot Caravelle Gilliand.jpg is an example of one ;)
  2. In relation to permissions, what I am going to have to do is add a sub-userpage (or COM:AVIATION subpage) where people can put links to photographers whose works they need, and I can do all the contacting for them. As you all know, I am having a good success rate. Or youse can contact them yourselves. I've contacted around 200 photographers in the last week. Will think of best way/place to put this request. What do you think?
  3. Thanks for pointing out the duplicate. If you see such things in future, feel free to {{Duplicate}} them and any admin can take care of it.

Cheers, russavia (talk) 17:15, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

  1. Uh-oh, I don't have enough spare time to work on wiki now, I'm too busy on my real work (that is closely related to Tu-160 and Su-35 BTW). But I'll try to do something with this subject then spare time appears.
  2. I think it's great idea. I remember that you had a list of photographers on google docs. Is it still active? You can post a link to it on that subpage too.
  3. Yep, I've already dealt with some duplicates. But this one I've discovered just seconds after posting message here on your talk page so I thought that I should say about it to you instead of marking it "duplicate".

Fake alert

Since I can't be bothered to learn the proper procedures around here, can you please take a look at File talk:Zhometa Village Center.jpg and en:Zhometa, draw appropriate conclusions, and take necessary action? The image seems to have been lifted from here. Thanks.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?);

P.S. I'll CSD the en_wiki article once the image is taken care of.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?);

Did you...

...get any response from those photographers I proposed you some months ago? Cheers. --Dura-Ace (talk) 20:06, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

Hey mate, I did contact all of them and got no responses except from one who said he would consider it. I will follow up with all of them in the next couple of days for you. Cheers, russavia (talk) 20:29, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
Thank you very much indeed, Russavia :) --Dura-Ace (talk) 15:20, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

Russian Embassy and Jamaican Patois

First of all, I apologize for not taking the photos of the Russian Embassy. I did find it, but I've never stopped around there and have never had my camera with me when I was around there. I got a newer, smaller, less conspicuous camera last week, but for the past two months I have had no personal transportation. If I get another motorcycle I will give it a shot. If I get another car, it is less likely.

I can speak Patois and sometimes I do, but I have no idea how it is supposed to be written. Whenever I try to write it, I just do so in an ad hoc way that is mostly based on English. I think I use many more apostrophes than anyone else writing Patois does (e.g. "t'ink" for think and "'tink" for stink.)
