Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Te ofrezco mi ayuda para aclararte en Commons. Si deseas que te explique los problemas de tus imágenes y te aclare cuales son las imágenes que se pueden subir y cuales no, házmelo saber.

Por el momento, decirte que me he puesto en contacto con un administrador aquí en espera de que revise todas o gran parte de tus imágenes. Pienso que lo normal es que fuesen borradas todas, pero es una opinión personal. Que opine eso no quita que puedas tenerme a tu servicio.

Continuación de los comentarios realizados en File:Ella.jpg[edit]

No entiendo lo que dices ("no la tiene efectivamente, pero es la primera noticia de que solo tiene que haber imágenes vinculadas a algún acceso de la biblioteca").

A Commons solamente se pueden subir obras propias u obras que permitan el uso comercial y la realización de obras derivadas. Si alguna página web no pone expresamente que permite esas condiciones, las imágenes de esa página web no se pueden subir a Commons. Es obligación del que sube las imágenes indicar el origen (autoría propia, de donde las sube,...). Si el origen que expresas no permite comprobar la licencia (permiso de uso comercial y obras derivadas), la imagen debe ser borrada. A eso me refería, (disculpa) no sé a qué te refieres tú--Miguel Bugallo 17:05, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No se trata de borrar o no borrar. Para mi no se trata de eso. Se trata de tener un usuario que colabore (tú) o no tenerlo.

Yo no soy nadie, pero puedo ayudar a entender: Por desgracia, Commons es muy complejo y mucha gente se desanima o se siente agredida por no comprender. Puedo ayudar a que comprendas, pero no hoy (31 de diciembre). Mañana te envío un mensaje explicativo. A partir de ahora voy a estar ocupado. Espero que diciéndote que he acabado el plato que me correspondía hacer para fin de año y que, por haber acabado, he visto tu comentario, puedas entender que Commons no es un espacio web normal. Aquí, los administradores no cobran (yo he sido administrador pero hace tiempon que lo he dejado). Los usuarios trabajamos en el proyecto porque nos da la gana, al igual que los administradores. Nadie cobra, nadie debe nada, nadie promueve nada por interés personal. Pero hay normas, normas de la comunidad, normas hechas por todos y otras normas ineludibles, que tienen que ver con las características del proyecto, que no son discutibles, o las aceptas o lo dejas.

Entre esas normas ineludibles está el hecho de que las imágenes tienen que permitir la realización de obras derivadas y el uso comercial. Lo malo es que hay cosas que casi nadie sabe: Por causa de la legislación internacional -covenio internacional de Berna que España firmó- cualquier espacio (página web, libro,...) que no indique las condiciones de uso de una imagen publicada, tiene, por defecto, todos los derechos reservados y, por lo tanto, esas imágenes no pueden ser subidas a Commons, pues no permiten el uso comercial expresamente, ni las obras derivadas.

No actuar conforme a las normas, no borrar las imágenes que no respeten esas normas, es poner en peligro el proyecto. Intenta ver nuestra realidad desde dentro: ¿Crees que los poderes económicos están interesados en que las Wikipedias existan? ¿Existiría Commons si no nos preocupásemos por respetar los derechos de autoría? Con los intereses que hay (el conocimiento es poder), si en Commons no nos preocupamos por respetar la legislación, nuestra comunidad desaparece.

A mí me parece mentira que no haya habido múlgiples denuncias dirigidas a Commons por... Si no las ha habido es porque se están haciendo las cosas bastante bien, estamos defendiendo un espacio que promueve el dominio público y que además tiene futuro.

En concreto, no puedes subir una imagen de una página web cualquiera y subirla a Commons como si no pasase nada. Pasa mucho, estás atentando contra nuestro futuro si en esa página no se dice expresamente que se permiten las obras derivadas y el uso comercial. Solamente puedes subir imágenes hechas por ti o imágenes en quye se permitan espresamente esas condiciones (cosa muy rara).

Decir que una imagen es tuya cuando no lo es, es motivo de bloqueo de por vida, es motivo para no permitirte subir jamás una imagen. Desde fuera puede parecer excesivo, desde dentro, es normal.

Hola Rokambolexko, como bien te ha explicado Miguel en este proyecto solo se admiten imágenes de propia autoría y de fuentes con licencias compatibles (GFDL o cc-by-sa) o en dominio público. El fotografiar una foto tomada por otra persona o subir a tu ordenador material recogido de Internet no convierte el trabajo en propio, estas obras tienen copyright y el poner "mío" en el origen no es válido, como es el caso de las imágenes que he borrado y las marcadas con "no source" como puedes ver en tu galería, las cuales serán borradas también al cabo de 7 días si no aclaras el origen de forma comprobable. Tienes toda la información necesaria sobre el tipo de imágenes válidas y sus licencias en Commons:Sobre las licencias y cualquier otra duda que tengas puedes ponerte en contacto conmigo o con Miguel.
