I noticed that you uploaded a file using the name File:Fatima (3).jpg. A file by this name already existed on Commons. Overwriting an existing file should not be done except when making minor, uncontroversial corrections, so the file has been restored to its previous version. If the file that you attempted to upload is within our project scope and is in the public domain or published under a free license, please upload it again under a different name. Thank you. For more information, please see Commons:Overwriting files.

You cropped version of the picture was uploaded by me in a sepparate file. Thanks. :-)

Oh, of course, if in the future you have any problem, you can ask me, I'll help you as far as I can. Thanks. :-)

Thanks[edit]

thanks @Randy Kryn for what you said Chinakpradhan (talk) 02:57, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

i have written my need to return to list of ingenuity flights; lessen the duration of ban and laying false charges of "which means that nearly every edit they've contributed is likely copyvio.". but seems they can understand you better than me. (they understood me and gave a talk page ban). thank you to come forward. Chinakpradhan (talk) 03:13, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Just want to mention, I don't edit here at commons. I hope your situation works out, please take it as it comes. You seem to have been adding editing-while-upset talk page comments and pings, so maybe take a day and relax (it helps not to look at Wikipedia at all for, say, 12 hours). Wikipedia editing is an addiction, and this experience will probably show you a bit more of how much we are all addicted to it. I'll not comment here much since, as I said, I don't edit commons except to try and protect images they try to get rid of. Good luck, and see you back when you get back. Onward to Mars! Randy Kryn (talk) 03:19, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
ok Chinakpradhan (talk) 03:30, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Randy Kryn didnt thought to call you up again but since i am blocked could you please update ISS Fleet operations, if you are not busy as per NSF. as i am away. its outdated now. you can also update at once on january 9 when crs 6 goes undocks. Chinakpradhan (talk) 08:55, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, and, nope. You can update it when you get back if an error exists. This is part of the Wikipedia addiction, looking at or editing Wikipedia. It is a real thing but not a bad thing, but you now have a chance to further realize you have it and maybe break some of the bond it creates. Enjoy (actually), sometimes a ban is very helpful for your life and the people and places in it. Randy Kryn (talk) 11:15, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
could i get some info on UTRS working on wiki???@Randy Kryn i was declined once on a question i didnt explained properly and the discussion was closed. i tried another request but it showed "It has been detected that you or someone else is trying to spam our system with appeals. Please wait until your previous appeal is closed, or if it is already closed, please try again later. If you are applying for an unblock of an IP address, this could mean that an appeal has already been submitted for your IP. In this case, please try again later or contact us to help clarify the issue." doesnt know how to deal with this. Chinakpradhan (talk) 05:22, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

If you and the IP below are actually the banned users, then please tone it down. The banned users seem to be upsetting people enough that they want to remove all the good images which have been uploaded. Maybe an apology to the people putting up the deletion requests could be a good faith healing-attempt. Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 13:40, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you but I have never offended him or had anything to do with him. He was blocked in the English wiki for serious facts. You can easily check. Thank you. 37.163.78.250 13:51, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't edit Commons except to comment on deletion attempts, so am not involved in the banning/unban politics. Everyone should get along, which is always my hope, but I won't become active in lobbying for or against a banning. Hopefully the images survive the deletion attempts, they are valuable additions to Wikipedia projects. Randy Kryn (talk) 13:56, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
He succeeded here once [2] And he probably thinks he does it everywhere. However he has a temper, they even blocked him indefinitely in English. I never had anything to say with him. If you see he only takes FP or QI pictures out of dislike he doesn't care about quality. Thanks anyway. 2.199.215.249 14:01, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for disturb[edit]

now he did this too [5] sorry--5.169.73.61 22:39, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Very sorry[edit]

I'm sorry to bother again but now he did this [6]--109.52.103.50 21:38, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Turning out okay, hopefully, as calls for amnesty seem to be occurring. You (if it is you under discussion) should be applauded and thanked for your very good images used throughout Wikipedia. That's half the battle though, as civility and playing nice with other editors is a big thing, and since you've been around the block a few times maybe now is the time for realizing that others have been frustrated and give them a break. A concern is that you seem to have had a habit or removing other people's images from the pages - okay to do once in awhile but a bad habit which rightfully gained some animosity. If you are allowed back as one user please come back with the love for your fellow editors as strong as your love of making sure that Wikipedia readers have the best visual experience possible. Hi, thank you for the compliments. However, I was told by the meta stewards that they will not enable me. It's crazy to get a global ban for fighting with two or three guys on FP, and not even being vulgar or anything. Anyway I removed terrible pictures with my own but it's not that I'm crazy, I'll give you an example,n this page[7] I have replaced this photo [8] with this [9]....you say it's worse? I don't think so. I am not crazy, I am a photographer for the holy see, I think I am not crazy. I am sorry to see old photos because I am told by many of the faithful that momlte people can't travel and can't see beautiful works in detail and I try to show them the best I can but here it's all about being someone's friend. Now they are even deleting my photos without even asking the community for permission [10], is that normal? I don't think so. Anyway, thanks again for the compliments. I continue to work for people who deserve to have decent photos. Best regards and a hug.If you want my email is livioandronico2013@gmail.com. If you come to Rome write to me and we'll have a nice tour. Greetings again. 2607:5300:61:B0D:0:0:271D:6A53 09:00, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, and sorry that you are having troubles. I do not know the Commons culture, and do my work on English Wikipedia, so I have no "clout" here. As almost everywhere, the culture of a place seems set and whenever someone rocks the boat (or the skiff) a few others will come to the side of the one they know best. The photos you've linked all seem good and complimentary (does Commons allow more than one photo to represent something?), and the essence of the structure is captured in them. I don't know what a global ban means, it sounds drastic, but maybe one error was not taking on a name and not an IP address as your identity. Can you still do that and work elsewhere? Thanks, nice offer. I've never been to Roma but have discussed it often with a friend of mine whose husband died five months ago, it's been a dream of hers to see it and Vatican City and I hope she decides to go at some point (and takes me along). Good luck with your situation, it's hard to resolve conflicts with those who oppose you but please keep trying, your work seems valuable and useful for all Wikipedia languages. Randy Kryn (talk) 11:23, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have tried many times and even if I do nothing wrong I get blocked for dislike as you can see here [11].Unfortunately, there are those 3- 4 users who have nothing better to do than to block me,and that they delete photos without asking the communityand this is improper. These for example were photos that I uploaded [12].When you would like to come let me know and we will have some nice rides with my Tesla,my wife and daughters,I will show you the most beautiful parts of Rome. You have my email, anytime you want I am here. Greetings. 2A04:52C0:101:1DC:0:0:0:0 13:43, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, and sorry, there is nothing further I can do as I'm not really an active member of the Commons community and would have little if any influence here. Your photographs are beautiful (and I hope they stay, especially the ones used on English Wikipedia pages). The city and Vatican City would be wonderful to see and contemplate, so thanks again for your nice offer. My friend (married to another long-time friend who recently died) is a serious practicing Catholic so Roma would be her visitor-paradise. Another Wikipedian who lives in Paris for many decades says that even after 25 years (paraphrasing here) he hasn't seen the entire city and its sites (I was in Paris in 2017 and of course loved it, and I consider you and other European editors extremely lucky who can get there and other major European cities relatively easily). Randy Kryn (talk) 14:36, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am not asking you to do anything,I just pointed out the situation,I have many FPs in English language as well[13]. Anyway I repeat, you have my email, when you want to come I will be here waiting for you with open arms 2607:F938:1000:5:0:0:A96B:9DB6 15:42, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but I feel bad that your good work has run into problems, and wish that all involved could work it out. Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 15:56, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, wikipedia has become a saccharine and selfish environment, but I will continue to work to improve it. I salute you. 2A03:F80:3991:192:71:26:40:1 18:31, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
