Dear Random Tree, I am a researcher at Stanford who is working on the development of educational materials for undergraduates about genetics and genomics coupled with environmental and social issues. We love your file:gametophyte2 and would like to use it for a unit on plant genetics: alternation of generations, but it is possible that Stanford might be able to license our courseware to a commercial publisher, so we can't use your photo on a "share alike" basis. Would you perhaps be willing to permit us to use it with attribution in our courseware? Or would you have a similar image that we might be able to use? If you would like to see what we are doing, please go to: http://bioethics.stanford.edu/research/TheNewGeneticsProjectPage.html. I'll be happy to give you the login and password to the courseware itself if you contact me. Thanks very much for considering our request. Best regards,
