Some questions

[edit]

Nice images in Category:A E "Bert" Roberts plate glass photo collection! I hope to see more coming :-). I have some questions:

  • What's the "Original Filename"? Is it the original filename in your collection or at Commons?
  • Is it possible to include a deeplink to your site at each image?

Hope to hear from you soon, Multichill (talk) 09:26, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I hope that the nice people at QM don't mind me responding, since I know the answers. If I'm wrong, please feel free to correct me!
  • The original filename is the original filename in the museum's collection. It will be an aid for matching these files back to their original source files at a later date.
  • The images currently are not available anywhere else online (although you can go to the QM museums at Toowoomba or Ipswich and see the originals), so no deeplink is possible. If and when they are made available on QM's site, the intent is to add a link to the template deeplinking back.
Feel free to ask if any further enquiries! Lankiveil (talk) 11:00, 10 November 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Notice that the object in the picture is engraved 1878 (not 1875). Please fix this error.-71.174.175.150 16:00, 1 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File:Italian Songbook QM r.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
