Cycling pics

Hi Pirker. I have some interesting pics of cyclists (not uploaded yet) taken about one month ago in the Vuelta Castilla y León 2009 but I cannot recognize correctly all. I saw that one of your hobbies is the cycling so, maybe, you can help me. That's possible? Here you can find a complete list of participating cyclists and teams, with their numerals. Categories Tour de France

You may have preserved the information shown on Flickr correctly when transferring the image here, but the Flickr uploader is not the copyright holder of this image. Either the image was created by someone else, or it is a derivative of someone else's work. As stated in Commons:Licensing, only the copyright holder may issue a license, so the one shown on Flickr is invalid. Always remember to critically evaluate Flickr licenses. Photostreams with professional-looking photographs, album covers, posters, and images in a wide range of styles or quality taken by many different cameras often indicate that the Flickr uploader either does not understand or does not care about copyright matters. See Commons:Questionable Flickr images for a list of known bad Flickr users.

Category UCI World Tour

Would you pls be so kind to explain why you have deleted the categories assigned to maps and logos I have drawn? Wasn't it possible just to add your newly created categories instead of replacing the existing ones? - --Maxxl2 (talk) 23:10, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

Only few races have their own category. Paris-Roubaix and Milano-Sanremo wont have more then one file in the foreseeable future as the route will not be altered. Why didnt you open new categories instead of deleting the category-links if you understand "UCI World Tour" as a meta-category? - --Maxxl2 (talk) 08:11, 24 March 2012 (UTC)

I am not a purist. There are many helpful categories that show both: files and subcategories. Thats not a problem yet. If you see this category as a meta-one, pls set the "meta-info" on the page, form categories for each race and add the category-tag to the individual files. If you dont, pls revert the your changes so that every UCI WT-file is shown in the category again. - --Maxxl2 (talk) 08:52, 24 March 2012 (UTC)

This has turned into an odd conversation as we obviously doesn't understand each other. To make my point clearer: A category named UCI World Tour should contain the World Tour races. Most of them have their own categories, so these could be included. I have no problem with both files and categories in the same category, but the map of the route for Paris-Nice 2012 should be categorized in Paris-Nice 2012, and not in this category. You have for some reason made this category into a category of maps (by including Category:Giro d'Italia maps instead of Category:Giro d'Italia), and if this is the intention, the category name should reflect that. --Pirker (talk) 10:21, 24 March 2012 (UTC)

Just to make my clear: the Vattenfall Cyclassics 2011.png was categorized UCI WT which you dropped. You didnt assign it to another category. Why was that? Tour of Austria

It would be really nice and appreciated if before you start deleting, you woukld ask why a category was established. Just to delete without any query is not cooperative and gives bad feelings.

As so far not-German speaking people wont find the files under"Österreich Rundfahrt", i opened this category to make it easier or even possible for them to find. Is there anythig wrong? --Maxxl2 (talk) 14:53, 6 July 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, but we can't have two categories for the same race. I redirected to the existing category. You could alternatively redirect the category "Österreich Rundfahrt" to Tour of Austria. Pirker (talk) 14:57, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
