Why?[edit]

Are you intentionally trying to repeal all of my uploads and edits? Signatures cannot be CC. They are allowed. And to the images that are not signatures, I have given ample amount of information about the source, and CC code, etc. Why are you trying to revoke them? Aviartm (talk) 19:21, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Because none of them have permission. You can't just lie about an image being CC licensed (and if you persist in doing so, I expect you will be blocked, and good riddance). Uploading copyrighted images without permission is - like most of your edits - actively damaging. There is a risk of the actual owner of the image sueing Commons. Hi I have noticed that a lot of my photos have a notice that reads "Spurious upload rationale - unlikely to be "own work" since the subject is in the photo." I would like to clarify that yes the subject Joseph Carrillo "me" is in the photo, but I had a family member John Carrillo use my camera. Do I need to update the rights on these photos 📷? If so what do I update them to? Josephwcarrillo (talk) 19:27, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Then they're not your own work, are they? You would need evidence of the photographer's permission; evidence of permission does not mean "just claim to have permission", but I suggest you leave them alone, since the draft Wikipedia article they feature in is never going to be approved. Pinkbeast (talk) 19:31, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ok then, what would be evidence of the photographer's permission? Josephwcarrillo (talk) 20:38, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Commons clearly documents the requirements there. You'll have to do your own reading. Pinkbeast (talk) 21:46, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

By the way there is also both an archive.is and wayback version of these photos. Josephwcarrillo (talk) 20:41, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

So what? Pinkbeast (talk) 21:46, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can I attribute a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 using Flickr? This photo is also on flickr at https://www.flickr.com/photos/alistcelebrity/44154592174/in/dateposted-public/ and my other photos are on flickr at https://www.flickr.com/photos/alistcelebrity/ Josephwcarrillo (talk) 20:39, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That seems to be another case of you simply claiming you have permission, without any evidence to that effect. Pinkbeast (talk) 21:22, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, so then what kind of evidence do I need? You sound like a "Pink Beast".Josephwcarrillo (talk) 23:02, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

As I said above, it's documented on Commons. You should have read the material about copyright before uploading anyway, so go and read it now. I am not wasting time spoonfeeding you for images for which you probably don't have permission and which have no actual use. Pinkbeast (talk) 00:39, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
