Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.

To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.

Hello JuTa,

I apologize, I'm still learning how to use wiki, and also learning the ropes of referencing contributions, I have been doing a lot of research the past days and I think I'm getting the idea. I corrected all other reference issues on the page, this photo you are referencing I think should be deleted also,I could not find efficient data to use it right now, I really feel foolish for using it in the first place now after learning more. I did use another Riverlore Mansion picture on the page which I recently found already on Wikimedia, I apologize for making so many mistakes. Yann, for the Halliday Hotel Lobby postcard image, I looked at the front and back of the postcard, and it was published without a copyright notice, I was reading that if it was published between 1923 to 1978, and published without a notice of copyright, it is now public domain, the postcard and image was printed in 1924, I reflected this in the references. Yann, for the Halliday Hotel card images, I looked at the front and back of the postcards, and there is no notice of copyright, I was reading that if it was published between 1923 to 1978, and published without a notice of copyright, it is now public domain, the postcards were all printed in 1920's, I reflected this now in the references. For the post card images I have that did not have links to internet images, I included the post card year identifier numbers located on the bottom right of each of the post cards, and also referenced the identification chart for Curt Teich to verify image dates.

Yann, I corrected all of the references for the Halliday Brother contributions. Yann, I replaced the Halliday Brothers Letter which I had originally used, with one that does not have a photo image of a river front as part of the letter, I could not find any information on the actual picture that was on the letter I originally used, the Halliday Brother letter which I originally used should be deleted at this time. The second letter I added reflects what is actually shown in the book, and I also corrected all references, copyright statuses, and dates. (Patriot1514 (talk) 08:08, 13 January 2014 (UTC))[reply]
