Categorizzazione delle chiese[edit]
Ciao, ti chiedo una cortesia, quando crei una nuova categoria di una chiesa cerca di mettere più informazioni possibili come ho fatto in quella dei Santi Ippolito e Cassiano (Scurano) come:
- collocazione geografica di secondo livello (in questo caso una frazione)
- collocazione geografica del comune
- intitolazione per zona geografica, con un minimo di cura nel ricercare la dedicazione corretta senza accontentarsi dell'omonimia, poi serve per agganciarsi alle cat ad esempio in wikipedia
- collocazione geografica-ecclesiastica. Le chiese cattoliche sono sempre all'interno di una Parrocchia che non sempre coincide con il comune (italiano), così come in una Diocesi che non sempre (anzi quasi mai) coincide con una Provincia (italiana), così andando in grande in una regione ecclesiastica che non è una regione italiana (o un cantone svizzero etc etc..)
- collocazione temporale: alle volte è possibile conoscere l'anno di inizio costruzione, dalla it:pietra angolare, e quello di fine costruzione (che non è quello della consacrazione, alle volte successivo anche di decenni se non di secoli, per non parlare della riconsacrazione se l'edificio è rimasto in disuso), se non si hanno questi dato allora si va sempre più sul vago citando o decennio o secolo di costruzione
- stile architettonico: anche se qui la questione è un po' più complessa dato che nel tempo una chiesa, specie nei centri urbani più importanti, spesso è stata ingrandita, abbellita, ha inglobato altre strutture vicine o preesistenti, per cui nasce ad esempio romanica per poi integrare elementi gotici, nel XVII secolo arrivano altari e stucchi barocchi all'interno, forse anche una nuova facciata barocca, quindi si arriva con un misto di stili interni ed esterni alle strutture e all'arredamento interno.

- Mah, io mi limito a dare una categorizzazione per stile architettonico quando la struttura sia innegabilmente o romanica o barocca o gotica: ti lascio ad esempio questa Category:Santa Maria dei Sabbioni (Rovigo) della mia città, un bel ed essenziale romanico con un'improbabile facciata "barocca". Nelle categorie di chiese delle più importanti città d'arte ci sono talmente tante foto che alle volte è possibile fare la sottocategoria solo per la facciata, che se è barocca va nella sottocat Category:Baroque facades in Italy, come con it:Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista (Conca dei Marini) che nasce romanico/rinascimentale (forse) (vedere la pianta è illuminante) per poi passare al barocco come consuetudine nel sud. Guarda, io ho imparato tutto a forza di fotografare, caricare e categorizzare le immagini già presenti in Commons, e se ci sono riuscito io ci può riuscire chiunque, anche se almeno un'occhiata ad un libro sulla storia dell'arte a livello scolastico sarebbe meglio darla. :-)--Threecharlie (talk) 21:12, 13 June 2016 (UTC)

Cancellazione categoria[edit]
Ciao, ho fatto io mettendo {{Speedydelete|empty}}; esistono anche altre procedure un po' meno veloci ma se sei sicuro che una categoria abbia un nome sbagliato, per un errore di battitura, oppure non standard prima la si svuota spostando tutti i file nella nuova e più corretta categoria e poi si mette il {{Speedydelete}} con il motivo per perché cancellarla (empty=vuota è più che sufficiente) :-)--Threecharlie (talk) 14:21, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
Un favore per un altro utente[edit]
Ciao, User:M.casanova sta sistemando molte voci in it:Categoria:Antiche_unità_di_misura_italiane_per_provincia e mi ha chiesto se c'è un modo di trovare foto degli antichi campioni pubblici, le lapidi esplicative poste presso i palazzi del governo o le pese pubbliche come questa.

File mover[edit]
Ho visto che ti spuppi un sacco di verifiche di foto. Estemporaneamente, visto che tanto sei autoverificato da qualche tempo, ti suggerisco di chiedere il flag di file mover se ti capitasse di doverne rinominare qualcuna. Sei sicuramente affidabile, e qui il lavoro prima o poi compare... secondo me magari non ci pensi alle volte a rinominare perché inserire il template è noioso, ma davvero è utile averlo proprio per limare quei casi ancora accettabili ma un po' ambigui con un semplice click e renderli maggiormente fruibili nelle ricerche.--Alexmar983 (talk) 16:23, 1 March 2017 (UTC)
- Esistono casistiche molto pignole su cosa non rinominare, ma io mi sono sempre basato sul buon senso. Non ti linko le pagine. Se sei motivato te le trovi da solo... è facile ;). - La tua prudenza è di esempio... certo fai pure pratica, anche io l'ho fatta qualche mese prima di richiedere. In teoria sono FM e quindi dovrei fare lavoro conto tertzi, quindi se vuoi un canale preferenziato, lanciane 3 o 4 insieme e poi pingami in talk. Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2016 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eleventh edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2016) to produce a single Picture of the Year.
Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.
There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. In Round 1, there were 1475 candidate images. There are 58 finalists in Round 2, comprised of the top 30 overall as well as the top #1 and #2 from each sub-category.
In the final round, you may vote for just one or maximal three image to become the Picture of the Year.
Round 2 will end on 20 April 2017, 23:59:59 UTC.

- tre o quattro settimane per un trasloco? Si vede che mi sono attrezzato bene in questi anni perché ad esempio riesco a farlo in molto meno tempo quando mi sposto da un lavoro e un altro. Scusa se faccio il caca°°i, ma se sono cose tue che devi spostare ti suggerisco se non è ti mai capitato di farlo, di cercare online qualche articolo sul decluttering. non parlo della gente che vive in case minimaliste (anche se io mi ci avvicino molto oramai), è che anche un 10% in meno di roba da muovere è meglio che niente. L'ho imparato con gli anni. L'ha imparato pure mia sorella, vivendo con i nostri che non buttano quasi nulla. - Ho svuotato case di famiglia in passato spostando roba qua e là, e lo so è sempre complicato. Alla fine per esperienza aiuta di più quanto entri nell'ottica che c'è sempre qualcosa va rimosso e non spostato. E devo dire comparando me e mia sorella con i miei genitori, che sono "conservazionisti", mi sento soddisfatto di aver fatto certe riflessioni a venti-trent'anni quando ero più flessibile di adattarle alla mia crescita e alle mie priorità. "Le cose che possiedi ti possiedono" (ok detto così è sborone) però questa sensibilità alla fine non conflitta con uno come me che ci pensa anche minimo due o tre volte prima di buttare (o regalare, riciclare...) qualcosa, semplicemente ho accetatto la realtà che si vive un po' meglio senza trascinarsi tutto dietro. Oltre ai 20.000 monumenti già in concorso, quest’anno si aggiungono più di 60.000 edifici religiosi, tema centrale di quest’edizione. Prendi la tua macchina fotografica, o il tuo smartphone, e individua i monumenti in concorso tramite la nuova web-app – disponibile sia da mobile che desktop – app.wikilovesmonuments.it, da cui potrai anche caricare direttamente i tuoi scatti. Sono ammesse anche foto scattate prima del concorso, purché siano inedite.
A livello nazionale verranno premiate le dieci migliori fotografie: cinque per gli edifici religiosi e cinque per le altre categorie di monumenti; queste immagini parteciperanno anche alla fase internazionale del concorso. Non sono ammesse immagini con watermark o cornici, né fotografie eccessivamente elaborate in postproduzione. È stato un anno da record, con oltre 52.000 immagini caricate su Wikimedia Commons, di cui già 2.800 utilizzate sui progetti Wikimedia (numero destinato ad aumentare). Stiamo davvero documentando il patrimonio culturale italiano insieme!
