File:1978- דיוקן שלום קרמר.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

The discussion at Commons:Deletion requests/File:1978- דיוקן שלום קרמר.jpg: which member of your family took the picture? They or their heirs have to submit a permission through WP:OTRS system. It is the requirement of international law. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 07:18, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
The picture was taken by a professional photographer by the request of Shalom kramer. Shalom Kramer paid for it. Now the picture belongs to his son Ephraim Kramer, my father, by law of inheritance. I already sent a request to the OTRS, maybe I put the tag for pending in the wrong place. Omrikr (talk)
- Good to hear that; the picture will then be undeleted in the near future. Sorry for all the hassle, but copyright law is not designed to be friendly - and Wikipedia, unlike Facebook and such, has little money to spare on lawsuits for violating international laws. Hope you can contribute more pictures to the project, in spite of the hurdles the law throws at volunteers like us who just want to help the world for free :> --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 08:42, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
