Hi, you recently deleted this image on the ground that it was a copyright violation. My understanding is that it was supplied to the Commons by the managing agent of Jason Isaacs, the subject of the photograph. If you supply me with the user name of the editor who uploaded the image (I can't access the information as the file has been deleted by you) or any other contact information that you have, I will try to contact him by e-mail and get him to confirm that the image has been licensed freely to the Commons so that an OTRS ticket can be added. — Cheers, JackLee talk 01:09, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Try User talk:Indtalent. Cheers, O (висчвын) 01:14, 22 June 2008 (GMT)

OK, thanks. Will try that. If I manage to get the e-mail confirmation, I'll get in touch with you again to ask you to undelete the file. — Cheers, JackLee talk 23:01, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi, I have received an e-mail dated 1 July 2008 from Andy Gout of Independent Talent Group Ltd., confirming that Paul Lyon-Maris of the same company is the authorized representative of Jason Isaacs and has a free licence from the photographer Helen Tansey to use the image "Isaacs, Jason (DH6112).jpg". Let me know if you would like me to forward the e-mail correspondence to you. I will also forward it to the Commons Permissions e-mail address. Could you please undelete the image and add an {{OTRS pending}} tag to it? Thanks. — Cheers, JackLee talk 00:20, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Hello,

First, please excuse my approximative english. =)
I come here to request you something : the Wikimedia Commonplace freeware inserts a bad template in the License section. More precisely, he writes this line : « {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all|Own work, copyleft, attribution required (Multi-license GFDL, CC-BY-SA all versions) }} ». For example, here. What i ask you to do is just remove this third parameter, in the pages from this list.

I thank you very much in advance. =)

Finally, i have decided to do this myself. =) My edits are here.

RE: Copyvio tagging

Sorry about that - will keep in mind. Just trying to help. weburiedoursecretsinthegarden 22:18, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

template translation

Hi O. Would you mind to help translate {{Description missing}} to zh-hant, {{Author missing}} to zh-hans, and {{Source missing}} to both? Thanks in advance, Waldir talk 01:14, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Nevermind, Shizhao and Jusjih already took care of it! :D Feel free to translate them to other languages though :) --Waldir talk 08:27, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thanks for adding the mellow advice.

Thanks for recognizing that a specific incident triggered a general query about a general concern.

Cheers! Geo Swan (talk) 12:07, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Attack Cake

The attack cake is NOT a lie. Enjoy. --ShakataGaNai ^_^ 05:50, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Great bot work

I noticed your "bot" work and the moving of images in redirected categories. Great work and maybe some of those redirected cats could be deleted using {{new name}}. Keep on moving ;). --Foroa (talk) 07:27, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Oops?

Category:Nissan Skyline, your bot has labelled cityscapes as a car model. Sherurcij (talk) 18:28, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Category:Skyline had two {{Category redirect}}s, which messed the bot up. I'll correct those images. --O (висчвын) 20:05, 22 July 2008 (GMT)

Help

Hi. Could you please take a look at this..? Thanks. Mintz l (talk) 21:37, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Licences

Might be if I give permission on my own work I cannot forbid to edit, or the transmission of the picture, but I have (in Spain, for example, "derecho moral" (moral right), on my own work, and i can delete it from Wikipedia, or any other GNU project. And I think also any owner of intellectual rights, released on a GNU project, can change the copyright. Pérez (talk) 02:29, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Unless Wikimedia Commons gets a DMCA takedown notice regarding your contributions, they will not be deleted without a good reason (author request is not a reason). Regarding copyrights, you may add [free licences], but not remove. --O (висчвын) 02:41, 27 July 2008 (GMT)

What means all that, I do not want remove the licence, I want remove and delete immediatly my own work. Pérez (talk) 02:50, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Which isn't happening without a good reason. "Because you want to" is not a reason, especially when they are useful to Wikimedia. --O (висчвын) 02:52, 27 July 2008 (GMT)

I want to delete my own work it is a good reason, if some body copied it from Wikipedia on his computer, might be I cannot force he to delete it, but i can do it on Wikipedia, and in any other GNU project. Even if the copyrights expire, the author has a right on his own work. Pérez (talk) 03:03, 27 July 2008 (UTC) On Wikipedia and GNU Projects any one can edit his work, or the work of other users, but you denied that right to me. Pérez (talk) 03:06, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

You can still edit, though please don't spam or work against consensus. Deleting because "I want to delete my own work" will not work in our case. --O (висчвын) 03:12, 27 July 2008 (GMT)

Delete all my work on Wikimedia, Wikipedia, commons, and any other sister project, please. Pérez (talk) 03:46, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

No. --O (висчвын) 03:50, 27 July 2008 (GMT)

Delete all my files. Coronellian (talk) 04:23, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

As you have donated your works, they will not be deleted without a good reason. "I want to delete my own work" is not a reason. --O (висчвын) 16:35, 27 July 2008 (GMT)

@Coronellian or Pérez, why don't you give us a comprehensible reason for the deletion? --Túrelio (talk) 20:37, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

I will go to a radio broadcast and will esplain all that problem there, please delete it. Coronellian (talk) 04:35, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Oral Parts of Matura

Why did you deleted all photos? Did you see them yourselfe? We shouldn't judge all category. There were meny photos. They are not the same. For egzample there on some of them people are taken at the back and without a clear view of faces. So we should consider each photo separately... Electron (talk) 05:58, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

And the next stuped thing done by you: the photo File:Matura2005 informatyka.jpg was not from this pool and yet was deleted because was laing nearby... It is the next prove that the deletetion all category without a while thinking is not a good idea. Think a moment before a work. It is always valuable. Regards Electron (talk) 06:15, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Consensus spoke. I went by the consensus. If you would like the images undeleted, please go to COM:UNDEL. --O (висчвын) 16:47, 29 July 2008 (GMT)
So if somebody in midtime have added new photos you would deleted it, too? Because they have hit in a bad company? It is very stuped think to judge all category, especially if there are many different photos. And why the whoal category the Oral Parts of Matura is bad? There are usually two parts of matura: oral and writing. Why oral is bad and writing is good?
I done what you propose me to do. Regards Electron (talk) 08:11, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
