Pay attention to copyright
File:BC Wolves logo.png has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

  • This file is a copyright violation for the following reason: COM:CSD#F4, License review NOT passed: No evidence of a free license at the claimed source.
Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Unblock request declined

This blocked user asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators has reviewed and declined this request. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not override the decision without discussion.

Request reason: "Hi, I'm the press officer of BC Wolves. You can find that I edited only BC Wolves page on Wiki because it's my job to have all the correct information published regarding our club. I have tried to upload a club's logo for several times, but it was deleted everytime due to a possible copyright violation. I, as a representative of the club, have send and email to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org on 15th November about free license release for this logo, but no actions were made by administrators. And today as I tried to upload logo once again my account was blocked. So please unblock it and provide me with an information on how can I upload a logo, which belogs to club, and not to violate the rules again. Thank you in advance. Decline reason: "No answer to my questions during a week. Taivo (talk) 10:02, 24 December 2022 (UTC)"[reply]

  •  Oppose - You are blocked for abusing multiple accounts, which you've not addressed. COM:BP requires an understanding of the issue and a credible commitment to discontinue. Does the BC Wolves organisation know their press officer is breaching the WMF terms of use by not disclosing their paid affiliation? Эlcobbola talk 14:25, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your response. Yes, I admit that when I got assignment from the club, I created an account @tazikas forgetting, that I have this old @nostraltu account as I do contributions to wiki very rarely. As soon as I recovered my old account, I stopped using the new one. Both were used for the same reason - for trying to make club's page on wiki better without any illegal intentions. I have no plans to use the new account in the future. No, BC Wolves does not know that I've breached the term of use because I didn't know myself about it either until now. Of course, not knowing the rules is no excuse and I acknowledge that. It's my fault. But I'm ready to do all the things needed to make BC Wolves page on wiki useful for all the users. Your permission e-mail will be processed by VRT group members, who are usually not administrators. For example, I'm not a VRT group member. Now I must ask another question. Why do you need to be unblocked? Block in Commons does not mean block in other projects. I can decline the request and say: if your permission e-mail is accepted, then this means, that you are really who you claim to be. After that please request unblock again. But maybe you want to be unblocked sooner? Why? What would you upload? How can we be sure, that your new uploads will not violate copyright? @Elcobbola: Neziuriu.filmu uploaded also logo of BC Wolves in July and again in August. Is this user related? Taivo (talk) 09:52, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Taivo: Neziuriu.filmu has not edited in 5 months and would thus be Stale. Based on their edits, however, I don't believe they would be related. Эlcobbola talk 15:31, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning sign
This media was probably deleted.
Thanks for uploading File:KK Siauliai Logo.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:KK Siauliai Logo.jpg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.
