Categories

Dear Nonoh, I hope you don't mind me asking you a few questions. Could you please explain why you're emptying categories? Wouldn't it be a better idea to discuss this first by listing them at Commons:Categories for discussion? Could you please provide proper edit summaries? I am not emptying categories, I only ask for the deletion of empty categories. There are I guess hundreds of them connecting to the city of hannover. Do you think that it is necessary to discuss it? Thanks for your response. I'm sure it's all fine, it just wasn't exactly clear what you were doing. Perhaps you'd like to use this gadget, which makes it a lot easier to change categories and provides an automatic and accurate edit summary. Hallo Nonoh, ich schließe mich mal mit meiner Frage direkt an. Hier hast Du die Kategorie anscheinend geleert und anschließend Schnell-Löschantrag gestellt. Meiner Meinung nach bei nur einem Bild als Inhalt durchaus vertretbar, obwohl man auch argumentieren könnte, es wäre besser, damit bis nach dem Ende von WLM2011 zu warten, weil zur Zeit die Wahrscheinlichkeit hoch ist, dass noch einige Baudenkmal-Bilder dazukommen und die Kategorie in zwei Wochen doch wieder sinnvoll wäre. Bloß leider ist dadurch die Baudenkmal-Kategorisierung verloren gegangen. Sollte man hier nicht das Bild hinterher in sämtlich Kategorien einsortieren, die vorher die Kategorie hatte, in der das bild sich befand? --Dehio (talk) 10:03, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

Nun, ich meine die Kategorisierung nach Häusern ist wesentlich zu kleinteilig, selbst bei Straßen dürften zuweilen nicht ausreichend Bilder zusammenkommen. Und in solchen Fällen schadet eine derart kleinteilige Kategorisierung mehr als sie nützt. Die Baudenkmalkategorisierung sollte mE bei der Datei geschehen und nicht bei der Ortskategorie. Aber ich habe durch deinen Hinweis gesehen, dass das bei deinem Beispiel wohl nicht der Fall war, ich werde künftig darauf achten. In einer Kat sind also keine Bilder sondern nur Unterkats, die wiederum auch keine Bilder enthalten sondern nur als Unterkat auf die Ausgangskat verweisen. Wtf soll das? Bezüglich der leeren Kats und der Zirkelschlüsse usw. stimme ich Dir völlig zu. Leere Kategorien sind imho nur in Ausnahmefällen sinnvoll, wenn auch zu erwarten ist, dass es da bald Fotos geben wird.

Das Problem in diesem Fall war ich, sorry. Ich hatte die Datei aus der Baudenkmal-Kategorie in die Kategorie des Hauses getan; und wenn es eine Kategorie zu einem Baudenkmal gibt, dann sollte meiner Ansicht nach die (Einzelbau-)Kategorie entsprechend kategorisiert sein und nicht jedes einzelne Bild. So ist das ja auch bei Burgen, Schlössern, Kirchen usw., zu denen es viele Bilder gibt und deswegen auch oft eine Kategorie für ein Gebäude. Ich war davon ausgegangen, dass möglicherweise tatsächlich auch zu diesem Gebäude im Zuge von WLM2011 zehn Fotos oder so zusammenkommen können und deshalb das zunächst unkategorisierte Bild in die spezifischste passende Kategorie sortiert. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass so viele Bilder zusammenkommen, ist aber natürlich gering. Wenn dann die Einzelbau-Kategorie mangels Masse des Inhalts aufgelöst wird, muss eben das/die enthaltene/n Bild/er im Normalfall sämtliche Kategorien erhalten, die vorher die Einzelgebäude-Kategorie hatte. Das Kategorisierungsproblem betrifft nicht nur den Denkmalschutz, sondern auch die anderen Kategorien (Bauzeit usw.) --Dehio (talk) 10:42, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

Hallo Nonoh, kurze Frage: Für Häuser, die an Kreuzungen oder Straßenecken liegen, finde ich es sinnvoll, alle angrenzenden Straßen zu kategorisieren, auch wenn der Hauseingang und die Anschrift natürlich nur in einer Straße liegen. Du hast die ergänzenden cats jeweils entfernt, bspw. hier: Hannover-Viktoriastr20.jpg. Gibt es dazu Absprachen? Standards? Nicht, dass ich die jetzt alle wieder aktiviere und so weiter, das wäre doch unschöne Mehrarbeit für alle. --Knase (talk) 20:18, 13 October 2011 (UTC)

Absprachen und Standards? Noch nicht entdeckt. Ich habe die mE deutlich überkategorisierten Adressen etwas "zurückgeschnitten", nach mM reicht eine Ortskat, nämlich die der postalischen Anschrift. Natürlich kann man bei Eckgrundstücken auch beide Straßen angeben, damit hätte ich keine Probleme. Übertrieben finde ich dagegen vier bis fünf Ortskats aller in der Nähe liegenden Straßen, das verwirrt mehr als dass es hilft.--Nonoh (talk) 22:34, 13 October 2011 (UTC)

Hallo Nonoh, alle in der Nähe liegenden Straßen fänd ich auch total unsinnig. Aber direkt an das Grundstück angrenzende Straßen deshalb, weil das Gebäude ja auch das Straßenbild dieser Straßen prägt. Extrem ist das bspw. bei der Viktoriastraße 20 oder der Offensteinstraße 1, wo jeweils drei Straßen angrenzen und die Häuser zudem ziemlich markant sind. Apropos: Könntest Du "Limmerstraße Hannover Eckgebäude Velvetstraße Kötnerholzweg.jpg" verschieben nach "Hannover-Offensteinstr1_2.jpg"? Ich weiß nicht, wie's hier geht, und Bernd Schwabe hat's falsch betitelt, da die Velvetstraße einen Block entfernt ist. --Knase (talk) 12:51, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, Dateien verschieben kann ich auch nicht, das kann nur ein Admin, guckstdu hier: Commons:Dateien verschieben. Bei der Ortskategorisierung bin ich wohl etwas zurückhaltender. Grundsätzlich meine ich, dass je Kategoriestrang eine Kat reicht. Also im "Wo?-Strang" der Straßenname als Kat mit der postalischen Anschrift des Objekts; wenn man es einer Adresse nicht genau zuordnen kann, kann man es ggf. eine Stufe höher im Stadtteil kategorisieren. Wäre es für dich ein annehmbarer Kompromiss, bei Eckgrundstücken maximal zwei Orts-Kats der betreffenden Straßen einzufügen?--Nonoh (talk) 13:09, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

Schienenschleifwagen 808

Hallo Nonoh, bei File:Schienenschleifwagen 808.jpg hattest du angegeben, dass dieser bei HAWA gebaut wurde. Im Web finden sich aber verschiedene Stellen, die angeben, dass er bei Schörling gebaut wäre. Hast du eine Quelle oder sonstige Infos ? Ich wundere mich dass in Category:Schörling trams gar nichts aus Hannover ist. -- Gerd Fahrenhorst (talk) 18:56, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
