Requests?[edit]

Hello I was looking for someone to help make some svg coat of arms and I found you, I wanted to ask if you where willing to help make some svgs for me? Could you make the coat of arms of the en:Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange? The coat of arms is already their article but it needs to be turned into a svg. Also could you make the COA of Bishop en:Tod Brown, [1], Bishop en:Kevin Vann, [2] and Bishop en:Dominic Mai Luong, [3]. I gave the link of where you can find the coat of arms. Also if your busy or don't want to make them it's ok. Also sorry for big request its just many bishop articles are missing their COAs and if they are usually their then they are very bad quality. Spongie555 (talk) 04:19, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Salutations! I am looking over the coat of arms now to see if they are able to be done.
I'll get started on the last two as they don't present any problems; the other three, I'll wait for a response from you before I'll move forward.Ng556 (talk) 20:10, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
For the first two it is ok if it isn't exact I have already seen that many COAs aren't exact. As for Bishop Vann's I will try to look for a bigger one. Spongie555 (talk) 22:27, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I found a bigger version of Bishop Vann's coat of arms here,[4]. It isnt much bigger but bigger then the last one I showed you. Spongie555 (talk) 02:56, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Salutations!
Here are the coat of arms of the ones I have done thus far.
I am still working on the Diocese of Orange. As to why I did not impale the Arms of Bishop Brown, I was reading that he is now the Bishop Emeritus of Orange. If I recall my heraldic rules correctly, only prelates that are currently enthroned or die enthroned have the privilege of having their arms impaled with their diocese. Unfortunatly, I am still unable to see clearly what Bishop Vann's coat of arms are. I cannot tell what charges he has on the boarder, nor can I determine what the sinister charge is. I am still looking around though and I shall inform you if I find anything. Ng556 (talk) 07:13, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for taking time to make these they look great. As for Bishop Vann's you can probably wait to make his after he is enthroned as the new Bishop of Orange as he might change it. Spongie555 (talk) 22:00, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done. I took some liberties, but I think it is an accurate representation. Ng556 (talk) 16:55, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request[edit]

I have noticed you have been making a lot of SVG versions of Diocesan coat of arms. Please could you, if you find time in your schedule, make on for the Diocese of East Anglia? The original file is at en:File:Diocese of East Anglia.png. It would be greatly appreciated.

Yours, Mangwanani (talk) 16:09, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Ng556 (talk) 16:55, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much. It looks amazing. Mangwanani (talk) 20:52, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request from Croatia[edit]

I've noticed you made and that you have excellent portfolio of Catholic Coat of Arms in .svg format. Could you make one or more of these too:

  1. [5] en:Alojzije Stepinac
  2. kardinal en:Vinko Puljić
  3. Želimir Puljić, archbishop of en:Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Zadar and former bishop of en:Roman Catholic Diocese of Dubrovnik
  4. Dražen Kutleša en:Roman Catholic Diocese of Poreč-Pula bishop en:Dražen Kutleša
  5. Mate Uzinić, bishop of en:Roman Catholic Diocese of Dubrovnik

Thanks in advance Chvrka (talk) 00:20, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I shall make them. Ng556 (talk) 05:44, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done. I am still working on the coat of arms of H.E. Abp. Dražen Kutleša. Hopefully I can get it done soon.

If you have any more, throw them my way.

Ng556 (talk) 00:56, 26 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I didn't expect you'll do them all :) and yes I have some more if you will be interested to make them after finishing Uzinić's.
  1. [6] en:Ratko Perić
  2. [7] en:Josip Mrzljak
  3. [8] en:Franjo Komarica
  4. [9] en:Pero Sudar
  5. [10][11] hr:Tomo Vukšić

Thanks again Chvrka (talk) 01:40, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done! I have two questions for two of the Coat of Arms:
1) The Building on en:Josip Mrzljak's coat of arms is which building?
2) The three dots on en:Pero Sudar's Coat of arms correspond to which three cities?
Let me know when you can so I can start working on them.

If you have any more, throw them my way. Ng556 (talk) 15:46, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Three dots are: en:Banja Luka, en:Sarajevo and en:Mostar. By the way, coat of arms are excellent. IoannesII (talk)

Hello again[edit]

Hello again I have returned with another request. Recently Commons deleted the Coat of Arms of en:Cirilo Flores because the galero and fiocchi sources where deleted for being copied from a website. Could you remake the Coat of Arms so that it is correct now? Here is a picture of the old coat of arms before it was deleted, [12]. Spongie555 (talk) 06:07, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. Do you have another source, perhaps with a description? I could do it with only the picture, but if you had the description, it would be better. Thanks!

Ng556 (talk) 15:46, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Their used to be a written description on the Diocese of Orange's website but when he was moved to San Diego they deleted the description. The picture is the last source of his coat of arms on the internet that I can find. Spongie555 (talk) 06:21, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done! So Sorry for the long delay.
Ng556 (talk) 12:11, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you it looks much better then the last one though it might have to change when he is appointed Bishop of San Diego. Also on another note I found a better picture of Bishop Kevin Vann's coat of arms, [13], that you can use since the last link from my old request was to small. Spongie555 (talk) 06:01, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Done! I saw that too and boy I would not have guessed those were keys from the other photos. Ng556 (talk) 01:41, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Me again[edit]

Sorry for always coming to you with coat of arms requests but unlike my last ones these are not California related bishops. First could you make the coat of arms of en:Frederic Baraga ,[14]? This one might be tougher but could you make the coat of arms of St. John Neumann? His coat of arms look like this,[15], but color wise it gets tougher. In this video at 0:23, [16], it shows some of the colors like the red outside but not the inside but since it is the redemptionist logo it would be safe to assume the inside is the same colors as the redemptionist logo. And my last one is the coat of arms of Blessed François de Laval, [17]. I do not know if you are still active but if you ever have time it would appreciated. Spongie555 (talk) 05:37, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, Sorry for the extremely long delay. My computer was broken for a while. I did the coat of arms of now Saint François de Laval. The others, I see, were done by SajoR. If you need anything else, don't mind to throw them my way. Thanks, and again; sorry for the delay. --Ng556 (talk) 19:58, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
