Request to import a Geograph image of A75

Hello. May I request you to import [1], via your GeographBot? An immediate search shows it hasn't yet imported here. It will be another great addition to Category:Kinmount Straight of A75 road (Scotland), one of Scotland's allegedly haunted locations. Thanks. JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 20:54, 5 May 2023 (UTC)

It leads to a page that has a link (labelled "directly upload this picture to Wikimedia Commons" at the bottom that should fill in everything on Special:Upload apart from the categories. Geograph upload gap

I've just noticed that there's a gap of about 19,000 pictures in uploads from Geograph Britain and Ireland between 1780732 and 1800000. See this Quarry query. Maybe you could have GeographBot go back and fill it in? --bjh21 (talk) 10:32, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

I stumbled across another block of missed pictures, so I've made a different version of the query. This one searches for all blocks of 1000 geograph IDs where fewer than 800 of them are present on Commons (limited to somewhere below where GeographBot is currently working). Looks like there might be a total of about 70,000 missing files. --bjh21 (talk) 13:07, 7 May 2023 (UTC)

I think you should get a duplicate-archive warning if you try to upload a file that's identical to one that's been deleted. And also a was-deleted warning if you use the same name it had before. I presume you already handle the duplicate warning to avoid re-uploading files that are already on Commons. --bjh21 (talk) 16:30, 7 May 2023 (UTC)

Editing recent Geograph photos

Hi Multichill - I was trying to add details of the bird depicted in File:Beach at Brighton - geograph.org.uk - 2267277.jpg, but when I opened the edit window, all it had was "{{Geograph from structured data}}" (your creation, it seems!) with no infobox, and my addition (see the file's history) didn't end up in the right place. How do I edit it to add this information so it shows in the normal manner in an infobox? Should it be added to Category:Media missing infobox template, too? Translating the file from german to dutch didn't work very well. I propose to delete the current file, so that it is easier to create the file once more, but then in dutch. I have a copy. ChristiaanPR (talk) 16:31, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
@ChristiaanPR: you need to make your comments at Commons:Deletion requests/File:Epizykloiden.png, not here, or the closing admin probably won't see them. Also, if you want to upload an improved version, just do it by uploading a new version over the old one. It looks like you already did so at least once (although, really, to change language in labels you should upload under a new file name: remember that people are allowed to embed files outside of WMF projects, and we have no way to know where else this might be in use; this might not be an "improvement" to some German-language website that is using this). . - Jmabel ! talk 18:41, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
