The RCE broke their image database

De RCE heeft een nieuwe beeldbank. Alle links van Commons naar de beeldbank doen het nu niet meer. Kun je hen vragen of ze een redirect systeem maken waardoor de links weer werken? In de nieuwe beeldbank zijn de URL's niet te herleiden tot de identifier die eerder in de url werd gebruikt (Adlib priref). Nu zien direct links er zo uit:

Handig dat ze dat veranderd hebben. Die URL's zitten denk ik wel in de data (de daadwerkelijke adressen van de foto's zagen er ook zo uit). Ik zal eens een mailtje sturen met het feit dat we nu 450.000 404 error links hebben. Mvg, Basvb (talk) 01:02, 5 June 2015 (UTC)

Ze gaan de redirects aanmaken (twitterberichtje). Wel is de suggestie om toch naar de UUID's te verwijzen (neem aan dat dat de nieuwe links zijn), daarnaast werd voorgesteld om de gegevens bij afbeeldingen een keer te actualiseren (weet niet hoe makkelijk dat zal gaan). Zelf denk ik erover nog eens te kijken om weer eens een setje naar hier te halen, bouwtekeningen zijn de grootste set die we nog niet hebben. Mvg, Basvb (talk) 14:21, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

ErfgoedBot may be affected by a change in MediaWiki API

Hi Multichill,

I contact you because you run a bot (ErfgoedBot) on the French Wikipedia and according to this announcement, it may break by the end of June because of the change of the default continuation mode in MediaWiki API.

Please check if your code or your library needs to be updated before it happens.

Comma category, possibly added by some of your userspace templates

Hi, Multichill. I noticed this oddly-named redlinked category, Category:, (the name is a comma). It seems to be coming from one of the templates in your userspace, possibly User:Multichill/HABS or one of the ones it calls. I have the following questions:

  • Is this a valid category? If so, would you mind explaining what it is for?
  • If not a valid category, would you please look at your template(s) and see if you can fix it/them?

I also sort of think that templates in userspace shouldn't be used outside of userspace this way. I'm not saying you are the one who used it/them, but could we find a templatespace template to use instead? Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 06:55, 22 June 2015 (UTC)

Rodent identification

Hi, File:Lunchtime at Waters' Edge Park - geograph.org.uk - 326765.jpg is obviously not a vole belonging to Arvicola species, probably a kind of rat (see eyes, ears, nose and the tail diameter).
