File: Illness-Wellness Continuum.jpg

Hi Multichill. I uploaded the above file and at the time put it as a free image, while awaiting the owner's permission. Unfortunately the owner decided to keep it as a copyrighted image (I don't think he forwarded permission to Wikipedia for the image to be used as a free image). I noticed that you have a link to the image and I wondered how I should go about getting the image deleted? Thanks in advance for your help Fbell74 (talk) 08:49, 6 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi Fbell74, it's a shame it didn't work out! I tagged the file for speedy deletion with a link to this message. That should do the trick. Multichill (talk) 21:59, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
I know! I'm hoping to resubmit the image in a category for copyrighted material. Hopefully that will work out - it's a useful image for helping to explain the concept. Thanks for helping to sort out my request - I can see the file has been deleted. Quick work! Fbell74 (talk) 10:32, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

Geographbot

Hi,

Would it be possible to send Geographbot on a scout against? It's three years since it last uploaded and there any more useful files it could upload. Mtaylor848 (talk) 20:22, 9 January 2014 (UTC)

Bit of advice

Hello Multichill,
I am a contributor in biology and templates/lua modules for biology.
I have been working a lot with User:Rocket000 on the templates but now that he left I feel lonely.
Would you mind being a correspondant with which I could brainstorm on templates/lua modules?

Let me give you an example of the questions I would like to ask you:
I modified {{MSW}}, which takes as parameter a database identifior, to verify if this parameter matches with Property:P959 stored in wikidata.
But sometimes I need to modify the {{MSW}} call to disable this check.
So I would like to add a parameter, but I don't know how to name it: disabletest=yes, disablecheck=yes, checks=no...

Foto´s categorie Nedinscogebouw

Hallo Multichill,

De vier foto´s in de categorie Nedinscogebouw zijn niet van dat gebouw, maar van de voormalige chocoladefabriek, die ernaast ligt/lag. Zou je het kunnen aanpassen? Dank je. Torval (talk) 05:00, 18 January 2014 (UTC)

Proper Attribution?

Hello,

I am helping to (self)publish a Bible/Qur'an side-by-side study guide (designed to foster dialog between Christians and Muslims), and for the cover I was considering incorporating this lovely scan of a Qur'an that you have posted under a creative commons license.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:WLM_-_roel1943_-_Koran.jpg

It says that if I use it I need to attribute "in the manner specified by the author or licensor"; could you tell me please, if I end up choosing to use this scan, what is the proper attribution?

I don't have a commons account, but you can contact me at ruberad@gmail.com.

Thanks so much for adding valuable content to the internet and sharing with the world!

Sorry, I didn't understand the method of "user talk" on this site; if you don't like email don't bother, I will monitor this page for a response over the next few days since that seems to be your preferred method of contact.

thx,
