Keeping images and their description in sync

Hi. Whenever you update images, like you did here for example, please make sure to update relevant attributes in the description. In this case, you forgot to update info about W3C validation errors. I don't know if it's a single omission like this or something you haven't been aware of, but please be more careful about such synchronizations - in absence of some automatic validation on Commons, this is a manual work for now, which is easiest done at the point in time when images are updated. I wasn't aware that I had to manually edit that -- I thought the checks were done automatically. That's the only image I've done any changes to for the purposes of fixing W3C validation. MrAureliusR (talk) 06:45, 9 January 2022 (UTC)

Need assistance with image upload gone awry

I recently tweaked the code for File:Transmission line pulse reflections.gif and improved it by making it larger and a few other tweaks. However, when I went to upload it today, something went wrong. It seems to have just taken the existing image and stretched it to the dimensions of my image, so it looks all pixellated and low-quality. If you look at the history section at the bottom of the page, you can see in the thumbnail for the current version what my version looks like (you can see the additional text and different sizes of objects) but the actual file hasn't been replaced properly. I didn't want to do anything else for fear of making the situation worse. The file I created I also uploaded to [1] so you can see what it should look like.
