First steps tutorial

Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content).

You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
  • You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
  • To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
  • You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
  • There are several tools to upload files.
  • Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.
Made a mistake?
  • Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.
  • Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Buenas. La imagen tenía una plantilla de permiso pendiente colocada en diciembre de 2022 y fue borrada por mantenimiento al no recibir el permiso correspondiente dentro del plazo. Puede seguir el procedimiento vía VRT solicitando al fotógrafo que envíe el permiso. Ganímedes (talk) 14:33, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Buenas y muchas gracias por contestar. Pues sinceramente, no lo vi. Hablamos de esta foto: Telar_antiguo_para_confeccionar_espolines.jpg. que no tiene nada que ver con las de los fotógrafos con los que estuvimos hablando. He estado mirando los correos que tengo, y el ticket al que me han hecho referencia (Ticket:2022120110007731) es el de las fotos hechas por Víctor Cucart. Es raro que esa foto, que no tiene nada que ver con él, estuviera en el mismo ticket. Si se incluyó, yo no fui consciente de ello, lo siento. MorenaClara (talk) 15:09, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
El aviso de borrado debe haber sido colocado en la propia imagen, así que transcurrido el tiempo mínimo sin recibir permiso, el borrado correspondía. Yo no coloqué la plantilla de aviso en la imagen. Por otra parte, por un tema de desgaste emocional y para no seguir alimentando tensión prefiero no involucrarme con esa ni otras solicitudes suyas. Le sugiero contactar con VRT por mail para aclarar la situación o solicitar el des-borrado (aquí le dicen undeletion) de la imagen en Commons:Undeletion requests/Current requests. Si no maneja el inglés puede hacerlo en español; hay administradores que se manejan en nuestro idioma. Saludos. --Ganímedes (talk) 10:25, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Como hemos hablado por correo, es imposible localizar a la persona anónima que apretó el interruptor de mi cámara en 2007, y además yo misma solicité el borrado de todas las fotos, así que estamos de acuerdo en el borrado, aunque sobre el tema del copyright de fotos hechas por personas anónimas con tu propia cámara he tenido diferentes versiones desde Wikimedia Commons. No sé cómo podría localizarse a quien la hizo, cuando no intercambiamos ni nombre, ni dirección ni nada. Espero el borrado, gracias. MorenaClara (talk) 14:42, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

También solicité el borrado, así que no hay problema. Me queda la duda (por tener más información sobre cómo funciona Commons) de si al ser una foto tomada por mí en un museo abierto al público dónde se permiten las fotografías, se infringe algún derecho. El cartel explicaba el origen del espolín.
Había también una exposición de modelos de Alvarado de la que no subí fotos (hice muchas) porque ahí tenía dudas, ya que los modelos no tenían más de 70 años y es posible que aunque estuvieran expuestas en el Museo del traje, se requiriera la autorización del diseñador.
