Category[edit]

Hi Mjrmtg, I ran out of room in the edit sum so thought I'd paste the whole thing here ,
The category is more or less a "This van is in the US but I have no idea of the make/model" if that makes sense, If an editor doesn't know the make/model but knows the country then images usually get shoved there until they can be identified further,
Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 22:30, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the explanation :) --Mjrmtg (talk) 22:33, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, Happy editing :) –Davey2010Talk 22:35, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Wayside Park[edit]

I'm having trouble with the tagging, but I don't think "Category:Wayside Park" should be deleted. If anything, it should be renamed "Wayside Parks" and converted into a sub-category of rest areas. ----DanTD (talk) 14:05, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I did create Wayside parks this morning and made it a sub-category of rest areas. --Mjrmtg (talk) 19:43, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

US 301 GA-SC Welcome Center[edit]

Since we both tend to take pictures of rest areas, have you ever considered taking some of the first Welcome Center in Georgia on US 301 near the South Carolina border? ----DanTD (talk) 22:28, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe I'll get out that way this summer. --Mjrmtg (talk) 12:53, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted edits[edit]

So is this image File:Live Oak post office corner stone.JPG NOT a post office in Florida? Ww2censor (talk) 20:24, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it is of a post office in Florida, but it also under Category:Old Live Oak City Post Office which is already under Category:Post offices in Florida. --Mjrmtg (talk) 22:23, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, ok I see that now. There are seldom subcats in the Post Office mani cats. Ww2censor (talk) 23:21, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

POTY error[edit]

Hi Mjrmtg from Georgia, USA, I'd like to apologize for the inconveniences you experienced at this year's Picture of the Year contest. I think that I have fixed the issue, could you try voting again? Thanks in advance, and thanks for reporting the issue. -- Rillke(q?) 17:09, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dizzy Dragons[edit]

Both the items you have listed under User:Mjrmtg#Unidentified amusement rides, please help categorize if you can are Dizzy Dragons rides, made by Sellner Manufacturing. They move more or less like a teacup ride; they rotate around the middle, while spinning at the same time. They're pretty common, I think. You've already put them in the correct location categories, it appears. --Closeapple (talk) 23:35, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you![edit]

The Photographer's Barnstar
Just an appreciation for the thousands of photos you donated to the commons. Thomson200 (talk) 21:47, 18 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you :) --Mjrmtg (talk) 00:08, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know why you reverted my proper admin closures of undeletion requests, but please don't do it again. INeverCry 01:22, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

City halls[edit]

Category:Town halls is the parent category for the entire concept covered by en:seat of municipal government. As you are probably aware, our category tree is set up so that child categories bear the same name format as the parent; whether the category is called "City halls" or "Town halls" doesn't particularly matter, but as long as the parent's at Town halls, the children need to conform. I have re-deleted these categories that you have re-created; if you persist in creating parallel categories, the non-compliant category titles will be protected to ensure that our category tree not be divided into two. Your account has been blocked[edit]

INeverCry 01:25, 7 September 2016 (UTC) How about Nyttend? I see you didn't block him. User:Auntof6 and myself created a lot of category of Municipal buildings in state to put Town halls and City halls under and Nyttend reverted all of our work. --Mjrmtg (talk) 01:28, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

What does that have to do with reverting me at COM:UDEL? I didn't do anything to you or your work. This doesn't make sense. INeverCry 01:31, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
That was a mistake. I was clicking on rollback, trying to roll back one of Nyttend's edits (on my watchlist) and accidentally rollbacked your edit. I said I was sorry. --Mjrmtg (talk) 10:52, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed the block. I'm so used to seeing you at DR and closing your nominations, I couldn't imagine why you'd be reverting me. I'm glad to hear it was a misunderstanding. As for Nyttend, try not to get too upset. I don't want to see you get in any trouble. I'm sure you guys can get the situation resolved. Also, I actually can't block Nyttend because he could just unblock himself since we're both admins. INeverCry 19:02, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
